Official DU NaPoWriMo 2023 Discussion
For anyone who is not familiar with NaPoWriMo, let me explain! April is National Poetry Writing Month (hence, NaPoWriMo). Deep Underground is an international website, so we have the extra special privilege of bringing a world of fine poets together for this awesome event!
NaPo is simply writing one poem per day for 30 days in April. We do have a few rules and guidelines to follow, and it may look daunting, but I assure you, the team is on standby (just look for our avatars with "Team NaPo") to answer any questions you may have during registration (which lasts the month of March). You are welcome to ask questions in the registration thread, or simply PM a team member. NaPo is not a contest between poets, but rather a personal challenge. Of course, we all root each other on, but there is a really wonderful feeling of personal achievement when you cross the finish line!
Give NaPo a try and see if it doesn't change you just a little bit as a writer. You might learn some really wonderful things about yourself in the process!!
