Trying to explore it again. I used to write poems in my native language when I was younger, but I  completely forgot about it. I think it's time to bring back that old flame. =))

I write poetry for a few reasons. First is because I love it. it brings my joy. Secondly, I write because it's my therapy. I learn a lot about myself through my poem and release a lot feeling I keep bottled up. Lastly, I get express my feelings and troubles in hopes to inspire others.

I write because I have to. I need to put down on paper or computer all the feelings and words that flood into my head. I feel like I have actually accomplished something when I finish writing a piece of poetry.

I write because it's what I do. it's how i process emotions, events, dreams, etc.

To me, I write poetry because it feels like the closest form of explaining emotion that we as a species will ever get to.
