My brother is definitely a sociopath or socio/psycho my ex was on that spectrum too pretty much the same as my brother. They're both extremely high functioning and interesting. It's also a little depressing, my brother would step over my corpse if it was convenient and my ex would say "I love you as much as I can". She also didnt trust love. Neither are full blown psychopaths, they both exhibit the capacity to form genuine emotional bonds. They can also be extremely dangerous if they see fit. As a teen my ex (didn't know her then) would gladly break people's jaws with a hammer if they fucked around. My bro is also a basket case when it suits.
As a side note psychopaths do have emotions, they're only centred around themselves though (as they're all narcissistic). If they didn't they would be indifferent to everything and not have the drive they do. I'm closer to sociopath but I'm relatively empathetic so it's likely more in the boarder line personality disorder range but I'm not sure, I just largely don't care about the expectations of society in regards to myself, it's not your life fuck off kind of thing.
I can fall in love and I certainly feel sad and sorry for people sometimes. I'm more emotional than my bro (obviously, but can go toe to toe intellectually, he's a fun challenge. my ex would decimate anyone she's a stone cold genius but lots of fun to challenge also).
I'm bored sorry for this random drawn-out bullshit comment.
