Pin prick stings like a bee
Blood rushing through my senses
Skin crawling with much delight
A false sense of joy ringing in my head
Sexual prowess edging my sensations
Climaxing to the beat of the drum

Popping daisies, romantic roses
Storms brewing in the distant skies
Hills of carpeted grass
Ticking my bare feet
Warmth of the sun, dripping like honey
Cling to me O' bolts of rays
So I may warm my tired bones
Nature's perfume intoxicates my senses
Cascading blossoms clear to the horizon
Collage of color tempting my palate
I gently walk, not to crush the lovely petals
Through the wind, I hear quiet whispers
I lie down, to be one with nature
I close my eyes, to  recall the delicate sight

My heart- cinquain

My heart,
Like a small child
Runs around my body
Breaking everything but itself

Lovely hearts are hard to find
Searching everywhere, high and low
You stroke the visual in your mind
You've thrown the seeds, watch them grow

Empty hearts are easy to find
All you do is get in line
But if love is what you seek
It's not for those who are weak

Morse Pacific (The Water Doctor)

I used to say I'd take the damage
Plant my feet even against the ocean
Standing on sand, I am dust, and so granted all freedom but now I must dance
In this moment I am solely the waves that break, lighthouse, birdsongs, and long-suffering
Another salty sentinel sent by petrified mummies

The air fills with the greasy smell of bacon;
starving, my stomach growls desperately

Smoky sweet,
a salty treat!

I wait impatiently as it sizzles in the pan

Mouth is watering ;
I swallow my hunger as I stare at the crisping meat

Nerves beyond control;
I take the bacon out half-cooked

Eternally Yours

Every thought is you, so consuming
My chest hurts and stomach knots
Anxious nerves awaiting you
I see you, my body heaves with utter joy
Closer you get, I am like a school girl
Infatuation and my eternal lust

lonely country roads

winding recklessly
blackbutt and ironbark branches
flash like ghost lightning
ready to snap from the sky

impaling windshields
balloon twisting airbags into car-wrecks
shattered glass falls like stardust
breaking the deathly silence of country

prayers fly past at a hundred klicks
widow makers whisper my name
in the wake of dead leaves

Slowly
by TheWordTraveler

Like a shadow
in the middle of the day,
you cast a sorrow
that keeps my heart from pounding
slowly, slowly, crazily.

This Is Halloween

A friend said to me tonight
“what are you dressing up as
 this Halloween?”

I thought about it for a second,
mulled over what was devilish,
what would make a horrific beast
as I settled on a costume

visualising a forked tongue
and pale, ripped skin
creeping through the dark.

“Me” I sighed

“I’m going as me”.

Book Of Pain

sleeping awake through night i'm  my Book of Pain...
silently screaming i write my lines of Sane Madness...
as i laugh from my leaking tears of Red Sadness...
as only thing keeping my corpse alive is the Death Rain...
so all the Mercilless Monsters can show me their Bitter Kindness...
so all my Sins of Self Sacrifice can slide into the Void of Vain...

inside of my Book of Pain...

PS: i'm putting it to the Miscellaneous category because it's written with intention to make your understading of it saying more about you than about the poem, my own favourite explanation of the poem is that "it's about a soldier going through war" said by - you guessed it - a veteran i had the honor of having this poem read by. Originally it's a poem about me & why i begun writing.

Maid
by TheWordTraveler

There was a maid
of herself
who is trapped in her own cloth
trying to be a queen
of the world
but she can’t even change
the way she talk,
the way she dress,
the way she walk,
the way she is
for she is a maid
of herself
who cannot be a queen
of the world
because she’s trapped in her own cloth.

Fear
by TheWordTraveler

I try to smile
in front of the crowd
but my fear kept going out
killing myself with fear,
letting me shiver,
giving me tear…
and now, I try to smile
in front of myself
but my fear kept roaming around
putting a knife into my gown.
