The Silent Scream

 screaming  but it's never free
of course you’ll never hear me
I've been silenced by myself
I wear a mask so you can't see
So you can't i'm on the shelf
on the edge of pure insanity
  my bones it's my anatomy
crushed and hurt you wouldn't know

That would be an anarchy
wrists are laced with notes of red
 soul is black
Inside i'm dead
I am ok by the looks of it
But nightmares never wait for bed

A silent  scream in agony
War  rages deep inside of me
What is said is superficial
Never will the truth be told
Words will not be beneficial
Deep within my heart is cold

Grappling internal demons
Fighting to look good outside
Outside forces push my boundaries
But fears and wants cant coincide

A Poet's World

Welcome to a poet's world,
And don't become offended.
You chose to give your all for this,
So write and take your medicine.

I know you can't imagine this,
There's no such thing as writer's block.
It isn't very pretty
But I want to save your life.

Who said that you could go to sleep?
You think you have a passion.
You've just begun to feel the pain
And you've run out of bandages.

But after such a short time here
Your thoughts turn suicidal.
You think that it's the answer,
Oh it's only the beginning.

Consider Plath and Sexton,
Do you think they R.I.P.?
So I bet you all my proceeds
That they're turning in their graves.
