calamitygin - the font style on the background makes it hard to read
poetryaccident, OxyMoronicMe & Jade-Pandora - these ones were clear on my phone without zooming
Done. Hope it's more clear now.

I'm really enjoying this competition, it's unleashing a whole new creative angle. I know we've had the option of visual poems on DU Poetry for a while, but it's not something we've really celebrated properly until now.
Done. Also formatted it for Instagram. It's refreshed on my page but not here (despite refreshing).

Oops! Apologies, Ma'am... I posted a 2nd entry and then realized it's way over the 60 word limit!
Never mind.

I've picked winners based on a combination of three things:
- Ease of reading on smaller devices (i.e. my crappy old phone)
- Aesthetics
- The poem itself
The winner I've chosen is Jade Pandora for Moon Haiku.
Runners up are poetryaccident and bridged by Ahavati.
Congrats to the winners and thanks all for making this a success, they'll be another visual poetry competition in February.

Omgosh, thank you so much, I'm shaking like a leaf from the honor, Webmistress!
I loved the premise and opportunity of this competition, so it was such a pleasure to participate. I also enjoyed seeing what everyone entered as well. With sheer pleasure I congratulate poetryaccident & Ahavati as winners, for me to share the podium with such talent. And my congratulations to everyone who joined in our premiere Mistress' first Visual Poetry for Social Media competition!
(still shaking!)

Awesome! Congratulations, Jade! I KNEW the moon would win the moment I saw it! And thank you Mistress, for the runner-up honor! And congratulations, poetryaccident!
I loved this competition because it pulled me out of my usual photography and words, and allowed me to experiment by combining both into one.
