DIRGE
Storm clouds rolling with thunder and lightning
Signifying the coming of calamity
A primordial being of pure wrath and despair
Reveling in such tragedy born of hatred
As servants chanting and lamenting what was said
The dirge of Set is spoken
“Let Ra behold and witness
As the hymn is sung
Enshroud in storm cloud tatters
Vengeance born when
Isis mourns as Osiris is scattered
Across the Nile
Defiled and strung”
Engorged in gore across the floor
Remove enemy seats
The stain still hangs over the slain
Falling in crimson sheets
Jealousy burns with a blackened heartbreak
As entwined lovers taste bitter morality
When hatred blooms in veins burning with wretchedness
Exist without humanity, rage eternal
Blinded slaves chanting and lamenting Lord Set’s call
The dirge of Set is spoken
“Let Ra behold and witness
As the hymn is sung
Enshroud in storm cloud tatters
Vengeance born when
Isis mourns as Osiris is scattered
Across the Nile
Defiled and strung”
Reforged with sores throughout the lore
With a forked tongue and tail
The strain that stains holy names
Behold the tale to tell
Desert sands held lost secrets
In the grip of hell’s inferno
The spoils uncoiled knots and locks
Past beyond where the Nile flows
He sits on a throne born by what the dead had made
And paid the blood price before the scars began to fade
Set in an oasis, a lotus in bloom
To taste the crystal waters spells your certain doom
Restless pharaohs sing haunting melodies
Of times wrought with plagues of god-kings and vanity
When mere weakling man sought to be greater than gods
As they gave into blasphemy under Ra’s eye
The desert sands swept them up and left them to die
The dirge of Set is spoken
“Let Ra behold and witness
As the hymn is sung
Enshroud in storm cloud tatters
Vengeance born when
Isis mourns as Osiris is scattered
Across the Nile
Defiled and strung”

Obelisk
As the sun sets over Ramesses's obelisk,
in Popolo where it was set after being stolen from Heliopolis,
everything all of a sudden seems so obvious,
the Empire has almost walked all of the steps…
The American Empire,
has almost completed,
what the Roman Empire,
reluctantly conceded,
what the Egyptian Empire,
gave up when it was defeated…
How much more blood must be spilled,
in the Global Colosseum,
as the filthy rich watch on,
and the warriors are paid per diem,
proud warriors,
turned gladiators,
forced to fight each other,
captives turned captivators,
murder made legal,
by laws written by legislators,
the sickened blood lust,
of twisted rich fucks,
same ones that called raiders crusaders,
made murders into heroes,
and made heroes into martyrs,
the same thing happens,
to this very day,
those that kill for the empire,
get honored and praised,
just ask Chris Kyle,
his number is 255,
no jail just 10 medals,
to him for taking those lives…
When will this homicidal psycho cycle be complete?
When will we realize that love is all we really need?
For if we continue to continue this tradition that competes,
then we must admit that one day we will be destroyed in defeat!
And all of this seems so obvious,
as the sun sets over Ramesses's obelisk,
but what happens next is anyone's guess,
I don't know I'm not psychic,
I just a writer that write this,
perched at Pincio I write all of this,
we've almost walked all the steps,
new day, still same old metropolis…

ENEMY OF RA
I tell you now of the great dragon
The beast, known as Apep
And Apophis, The Lord of Chaos
And The Enemy of Ra
Abominations await in the westward mountain, Bakhu
Things that slither in the darkness avoiding the eye of Ra
Lost so long in the depths of misery they forgot the sound
Of sweet music, their only lullaby is anguished screams
The maker of nightmares comes out at dusk
The bloody sword that is neglected turns to rust
The point of the dagger hangs on the cusp
The tombs of the pharaohs quickly building up dust
Sealing the crust of the ancient curse
Come morning light
Bring the enemy
Whip the slaves in his name
Ra, the overseer of all
Upstart, Horus
Mighty in the sky
For justice is his name
Beseech, be gone pretender
Apep will bless the heavens, severed
From the slaves below
His laughter, thereafter
Was a harbinger
Of slaughter
The eye will watch the torments, heartless
On the slaves below
His laughter, hereafter
Was without pity
For slaughter
The storm-shaker rumbles the heavens devoid of hero gods
As children look on the beast devouring the world of man
He appears as an eclipse in the heart of desert sands
An oasis in the barren wasteland burning hell-fire
The damnable beast coming from the east
The grim portents are rehearsed spitting from the priest
The nightmare things creeping forth to the feast
The tombs of once mighty filling with the deceased
Sealing the weak when the serpent speaks
Under the moon
Apep rules the night
Lash the slaves in his name,
In bloody bondage, to the wheel
Devour Ra
And consume his soul
Feed the slaves in his maim
Crimson gobbets fall from the sky
Destroy the prophets
The raging flame
Contends with creation
The gods hear in fear
His defiant roar
I HATE THE SUN! I HATE THE EYE!
I HATE THE DAY! I HATE THE SKY!
I HATE THE SUN! I HATE THE EYE!
I HATE THE SUN! I HATE THE SKY!
