I Sicken Me
I'm out of liquor.
I've never felt sicker.
My friend better get here quick,
or I might do something savage.
The nasty remedy, I've got to have it.
Just a force of habit.
Out of money, I grab it.
I'm an addict, who drinks until I'm sick.
Spirit broken, but I still can't quit.
I need my fix, I'm about to flip.
Being sober, has me looking over my shoulder.
Uncomfortable with thoughts of comfort.
Deserted thoughts of concern,
to be a sovereign beast.
A lonely one at that, who needs a drink.
Need out of my confining box, to freely think.
