damn the day drugs dissolved our dreams
dubious dabbling, daring death, drifting dreamless
dizzy depths deceived, decreed doom, devoured us whole
and we, desperate for a door dubbed decency
devoid of drama and delusions

doves drop dead despondent, disillusioned
driven demented each time I place a daisy chain
at the foot of your grave

willful words weave wanton walls
waiting, wanting in the wastes
warlords and warlocks unworthy of wisdom
wither and wallow in wicked worship
of wretching widgets and weeping wargasm
wayward wanderers wade in wonder
carried by whispering wings
on wailing winds
the wordless wistfully withdraw
walking, worthy of waking wanderlust
willful words weave wanton walls

I must proceed with my plight
With the picture-perfect presence
For yesterday was wrong
And I, complacent with the inception
Of my new aura must adhere to my new presence
Practicing passive behavior in light of yesterday’s events
Is pointless and it would protrude pointlessness
Peasantry people plead, prod in an effort to
Please you, but my dear detached void
I am in the upper class, patiently ready
To become your poignant patient
What is now six-feet under, may I remind
You
Is irrelevant
Perceive with emotion
Display indifference
Succeed in Mood Zero
Emotions are scars
Are painful bars—now broken
Perception is true
I have been promoted
My Mood Zero is
Perfectly perceived to be
Powerful
Monotone
Detached
Phlegmatic
Pert
Privately pompous
The formula to succeed in
Life
Is secret,
But I display the key ingredient
Placidity.

straining for satisfaction in
substance, sex and straying
stained with sin, self-loathing
selfishness and sinister sickness
stuck in a savage system

still sometimes short of the standard
savoring the sympathy of my savior

striving towards sanctification
seeing sure showering of blessings
salvation solely in systematic
self-reproach, submission and
saving faith in his self-sacrifice
