Poetry Contest

Write a short poem encorporating the verb to mesh.
I have used the word to mesh in several erotic poems as it suited the rhythm and rhyme  and thought it had the right meaning. Today I checked the definition which was:-coordinate in such a way that all parts work together effectively. This fitted the sexual meaning I intended but I realized it could be used in many other contexts. See what you can do
New poems  as many as you like preferably less than150 words

the way your body meshes with mine
you hands on my waist as you ride behind me
the rains in my hands
the thundering of hoofs as they beat the ground
riding bare back the best way of all
the thrusting motion as we race
oh the way your body meshes with mine.
gliding and sliding in rhythm with me
moving up and down matching my every move

my mind, it fuses and wipes blank;
the sentences mesh at the tip of my tongue as i speak
like the tablets of a scrabble board swept up and removed,
like the wires behind a desk.
i am at a loss for words.

We dont mesh
we mesh like paper and rocks
ripped through the heart of gold
we mesh like two worlds divided
like we were never suppose to be together
We mesh but never physical or emotional
we mesh and we are not supposed to be
coordinate in such a way that all parts work together effectively
guess we may just be the opposite of mesh
nut equally to work together we mesh to make the world whole

MESHING TRADITIONS

To mesh or not to mesh
popped into the minds of the elders
Should they mesh traditions
of different cultures into one,
or should they chose just one?
They chose the first one,
that’s why we are a complete mess.

So many dialects spoken—
to mesh them into one
is like speaking in tongues
No wonder progress is locked within
woven words of a poet’s brown skin
trying to see the light outside its mesh.

To mesh or not to mesh traditions—
which would you choose?

Though I've slung spoonfuls
of mighty ass mush in my day
more often than not I've found
myself mincemeat in the mosh
pit of unrequited lust and love.
And while it's true an open heart
is vulnerable to a mish mash
of roller coaster emotions endless
in vitality or volatility,
my eyes still scour the ads
for a sweet Miss somewhere
between a voluptuous
vixen and a vapid virgin,
who can can meet me in the middle
of our lonesome minds and mesh.

Mesh Weave

I stand naked before her fiery gaze
melting down through the mesh below my feet
where she ladles up my boiling essence
pouring it over her smoldering shoulders
my rivulets running towards majestic mountains
leaping from rock hard twin tips
pooling in the most perfect navel indention known to mankind
until filled to overflow and sent cascading towards
a landing strip of the purest pubic mesh
where I am strained into golden droplets of lust
that drop drip by echoing drip
onto the most perfect pearl jewel
ever to guard a sacred abyss
containing the secrets of meshing
eternal ecstasy with those of
heavenly bliss…..

Beloved and Lover
Melt into each other;
At their desires' urging,
Their bodies are merging,
As their loins and limbs mesh
The two 'become one flesh'
For regeneration,
Or just recreation.

In Unison

There was an element of dysfunction
A clash or need for discursion
In every endeavor until you

My every flaw took on a purpose
Balanced with just the right blend
Of us

We mesh
Like reflections of a flame
Sharing a core
We make the other whole

It's symbiosis
The mutual benefit
Of unfettered adoration

Our very beings synchronize
Existing in unison
Compelled to beat
as though choreographed

Nothing comes as easily
As the unison of us

Water Spited Satyr
By H. E. Riddleton
(Hannah E. Reed)’

The water sprites marched through the mesh
Of the marshes end, spraying the sea foam
Out to visitors begotten; the satyr dared to
Spy upon their dance and pouring into Waves
Drowned He went, below the seaweed and the reeds,
But the cateye he clung to, hanging for life,
For play, for sex, for wanton favor, he knew
The water sprites would whisk him again
Into doom if he dared to surface, but air
Was growing low and vision was blurring dull,
Dark, dark the abyss of death was fishing all
To close beneath the tidal frown of the drown
In which he had gone. He pressed his lips to
The mesh turned mud and gulped in the
Oxygen bubbles from the sand turned glass.
And there still he lives within the marsh,
A devil with Two horns, below the
play and parade of the Water Sprites.

Puzzle Piece

Blood slid down the chest
Of a thick, goose-down vest.
Melancholic shouts filled the air;
Meanwhile, blood pooled and matted her hair.

Matted and splayed her hair did lay;
And her eyes stared wide.
It was marvelous to finally see her
In a state of such pitiful plight.

The knife was skillfully arranged
To sit as it did in her heart.
Through her flesh.
And, Oh, did the two, to my delight,
Diligently mesh.

In her heart the dagger did fit
Like the piece to a jigsaw gone a miss.
Finally was her puzzle so complete,
The entirety of it- faultless.

Broken Puzzle Piece

two broken pieces
do not make one complete
They do not mesh
no matter how hard
we push and piece
two broken pieces
this puzzle
will not complete

Togetherness

It was no accident
It was meant to be
You're like cement
Mixed just for me
Your hold is strong
It keeps me close
Your grip is prolonged
You're part of me I suppose
Like a siamese twin
Conjoined at the hip
A marvel for most men
They just don't get it
How our flesh connects
When you touch my skin
Sensation starts to mesh
We feel the same within
Simultaneously
Our senses have an orgasm
Oh the spontaneity
Like high tides crashing
Against quiet shores
You're the ocean I'm the sand
Together we'll morph
Into the promise land
And become paradise
A vacation for our souls
At that moment we realize
We're both two halves of a whole

SALT

Then give your cold feet
To my body heat and give my lips
A parting petal in the snow.
Give way to full weight
As hips lift, stars light in dark pits
And hunger surrenders to, to and fro.

And words I mouthed in water
Beat tattoo upon your body
Petals pressed in linen sheets
Pressed against a mirror.
And pestle meshed with mortar,
Leaves salt upon the snow.
