I was taught to play this game by my father
I've seen many men play it
My brothers learned it as children
And still play it that way
Taking one piece

He was dazzled by her sight,
he could neither eat nor sleep at night,
he had to think of her, unable to forget
the clothes she wore, the smile she had.

She saw him once and knew: "Its him!
This is love, not just a whim!",
She lost herself in his blue eyes
and cried everytime they said goodbye.

They spent some time and they grew close,
one day he stood in front of her with a rose
and he kneeled down and to propose, he said:

what has been till now, simply does not matter.

She took the rose and she bent down to kiss.
"I love you too, I'll be your wife,
we'll be together till the end of our life.
Even after death, these bonds will not sever.

 How do you define true love, does anybody really know.
True love can not be measured by words alone for our actions speak louder yet they themselves do not always show.
 Is it never forgetting an anniversary or birthday, is it simply just holding hands while you walk.
 Is it wiping the tears from their eyes when they cry or is it simply just listening when they talk.
  Maybe a random bouquet of flowers every once in a while, for no other reason, than to see your loved one smile.
  Maybe it was love at first sight and you know they're mr or mrs right.
 You can say I love you every night but not talk all day because you fight.
  How do you define true love??
  Is it that first time you see your new born child, hearing that first breath of life or simply just looking into their eyes.
  Such innocence and perfection, that first touch those tiny hands their face holds no disguise.
  Every little whimper every little cry,
An inseparable bond always strengthening their innocence knows no lies.
  As they lay there with their cheeky grin as you smile back from above.
