I grew up
I moved on from the past
But did you?
Of course not
It's not a big surprise either
I've seen it all
Your love
Your soul
But this?
This is the all time low
...
You need to grow up
You need to move on
It's in the past
I did
So why didn't you?

I remember once I had to release,
A small pet finch I had.
I watched her fly high to the trees,
Even though it made me sad.

She had hung her head so glumly,
And peeked gloomily at her seed
I had known then, in childhood,
She would only be happy if she was free.

Though I found small comfort,
In dreaming of her flight,
My father told me sternly
That she would die that night.

The evil hawks, the biting wind,
His voice rumbled on and on.
"You should have kept her safe right here
And let her sing her lonely song."

I wrapped myself in ice-cold guilt,
And stayed up the whole night through.
Thought of the finch who swore she had to be free,
And the dangerous peril sure to ensue.

I learned that night of fear
And how nice it is to be warm,
And great dads are to keep around,
To keep you safe from all that harm.

Because rather then living,
Alone in daring and grace,
I'd like to hide my beauty,
Behind a man's protective face.

The day I shouted
"STOP IT" at the top of my
little lungs
"CAN'T YOU SEE HOW CHILDISH YOU ARE"

-the glass chopping board
broken under my feet
the kitchen devils knife
lying as unheeded as me on the floor-

was the day I sat on the stairs
and dug my nails into my face
until it bled

because of how they had stared at me
how I'd run from the room
treading the shards into my feet
and sat on the stairs

while the yelling continued

This is a poem
Of a girl
Growing into the
body of a women
Or a boy
Learning the ways
To be a man
Both grow
Their minds expand
Their hearts become hardened
Or soft and open
When they get older
And hit that
Time
On the clock
Where they say
I think ill be
Mature today
I think ill do my work
Today
They grow and
Become
The person
They were always
meant to Be.

LOST world

this is the story of an unknown girl
keeping her lost in an forgotten world
skys always gray and sun never shins
sometimes iv forgotten what is mine

Shinu sumori desu
Shinu sumori desu

tasukete!
tasukete!

this is a story that can never be told
hearing her scream and watch it unfold

never was lost time cant tell
of this forgotten world lost in hell...

Rushing to nowhere

All those days complaining
rebuking the rules
condemning authority
calling us fools
Desperate
overeager
to get away from this mob
Yes, now your free
with bills and a job

Grow up
Be safe
Wear helmets and shoes
Ill set you free
And
Let you be
What you are destined to be
No
More dollies
No
More play cars
Nows the time for real cars
And real people to talk too
Now is the time for
Sophistication
Maturity
Responsibilty
A job
Money cant be spent
On childish things
And time must not be wasted
Playing games
Now go and grow
Up up and up
Be an adult
Leave the childs play
And open your eyes
To the world
That is bigger
Than you ever imagined.
