Setting the trends between a failing-to-a-sailing grade
Maybe supa-sizing an almost “B” that's beginning to fade
Needing the “proper input” Needing the right-sized bit of Creation

See, we really don’t make nothing
But we’re always trying to score something
We see-feel, then we manipulate
On occasion accentuating the already created
Already, that which is something
Not a dumb thing…given the right leverage  
Attempting to keep a good-to-better grade point average
Despite the devil; we're keeping life at an acceptable level
Avoiding any type of negative Destruction
That’s a superior function

I don’t know…I’m just saying
Are these writer’s *writes? Are they honoring ALL Rights?
Are they the seed & feed for someone’s term paper?
Like the one needed by that psych major
The one penned about a past due “makeup”
As you know…this ain’t math.. Nor is it rocket science
But it can & does support an avid reader’s reliance
Wherein one can near-ace at the lab with a drop on a “good breakup”
The one that’s now past due for a past due make up
Where saved by the bell is what’s called a nice post-up

but why put a poster like that up?
maybe it should say:
"i wanted to tell you that i haven't made up my mind
as to what the fuck i will tell you so you'll just have to wait
but at least i'm being polite enough to tell you i don't really

Describe true depression

Blue go to black
Looking at the belt
Easy way out
Do not have the gall
To dump all this
On friends and family
Too much guilt to inflict


2.   DEFINITION

Coming and going
A black deep inland sea
Forms in my brain
Washes over me
Feels like I am over my head
Pull the blinds
Eyes covered
In a veil of gray

3.   CORRECTION

The endless juggling
Of pills in combinations
N 4 conjugated nine times
Some pills work
Not forever, not all the time
Sylvia...is this why
You put your head
In the oven


4.     DESTRUCTION

Exorcism seems so sound
Not scientific
No longer respected
End of the line
Get those nameless
Awful dark values
Out of my mind

5.   CREATION

Bending down
Without breaking
Like a willow branch
With a short noose
Fall to the ground
Waiting for me
The silent tears
Of a caring tree
