Darkest Desire
My darkest desire...
As I watch the blood pool around her eyes, I know it is over
The burden has been lifted
Her voice is no more
Breaths finally fail
Heartbeat plays its last beat
Goodnight was too sweet
I released the animal that had been trapped for far too long
She had it coming
I had it planned from the very beginning
Her life was finally done, and mine had just begun
