Hope is what I seek each night.
Day gone past, tired as usual-
Wonder how people can be so cruel.
Lost at times in a lack of focus-
Without some hope- I will blow this.
Off to sleep, an exhaustive end
but still each morning
I find hope again.

The secret of seeing
Is like a pearl of great price
Although the pearl may be found
It may not be sought
Illumination comes to those who wait
But is always a gift
And a total surprise
I cannot cause light
The most I can do
Is to put myself in path of its beam

Sitting like a foolish giraffe
Too stupid to see my own ass
So if anyone here knows of Hope
Tell that wench-
to remain a ghost.
