Zombie love

A blasted storm on the highway
In the middle of March
The last thing I remember
Is that huge trailer in our face
At the hospital I was told that our car
Tumbled down the hill
My dear husband, the love of my life, did not survive.
That was not acceptable
I called on my dear friend Amanda
A Caplata witch
We went to the cemetary cript
Where she recited incantations over the wrapped body
Soul and body were reunited
My darling was revived
Anew in this world.......but also not.
It scares me
Yet I want to be with him
I want to die and be with my lovely husband
I want to become a zombie.

Locked in My Memory

"Symbolically speaking, the zombie originally represented a speechless, will-less human held to have died and been supernaturally reanimated."
-- merely a fiction

My husband died--or so I thought--
his tailored coffin having bought
and buried wordless feet below
an autumn chill and early snow--
yet years am I a widow still
a zombie mute without a will.

a dedication of Respect
for
the Pain of the loved one left behind

a revolving helios rhyme

Just Go Away (My Husband The Zombie)

It wasn't supposed to turn out this way.
A blissful marriage it once had been
Then he was suddenly dead and laying in a casket in the ground.
Now, he's a Zombie of the most gruesome kind
Who doesn't even recognize my face

The accident happened during our trip to the mountains.
Where he slipped and had fallen off a cliff
dying instantly when his body hit
the rocks at the bottom of the cliff.

Now, here he is trying to bust down my front door
I just can't live this nightmare any more
He got inside before I could get to the door
Suddenly, I was knocked to the floor

In his right hand he held a hypodermic needle
That he tried to stick in me again and again
While we lay struggling there on the floor
I finally got it in one hand and jammed into
One of  his eyes

I started to scream as loud as I could
Hoping someone would hear me
And send for myself some help my way
I didn't know what else to do anyway

Things got much worse before the police came
He yanked on my hair while his blood dripped down on my face
God, how  I prayed he would just go away
