I am so happy not only that DUP members are writing more great poems ,
and competing in friendship again , but they also recognize a poet in another
medium , and an old hippie and rascalian of the larger tribe !

Well , to everyone who participated so far , and those
who might still choose to do so ;
I was not feeling well yesterday , nor did I have a ride
to and from the parade , and celebration in Mendocino ;
So I asked my best friend to check and get Larry's phone #
when he saw him in the parade...just called him , he said he
did not stay for the whole event , but did not see Larry , or his car ;
So , I just called the local radio station , that does their yearly party
and broadcast of the parade ;
They confirmed Larry was not there , and no one knew why...
They could not give me any number , nor did they know anyone
who had it...he is a recluse , as you can imagine...an artist !
So , I am asking for good thoughts , that he is okay...
We have not heard any different yet...
Maybe the car just would not start after all these years ;
I shall persist in trying to reach him !

Some people scream black lives matter
Some people scream all lives matter
But I don't know if I have a life to say it matters at all
She claims that
He takes that
They all want the same thing
I don't even know what I want at all
Some say it's that way
Some argue it's this way
I don't even know where I'm going at all
Some believe to saved
Some believe he'll return and only some will be saved
Some look for him in the sky
Some are waiting on the return of the son
Some believe he has already passed
I doubt that I even believe at all
Scientist say the world is round
Some walk it as flat
I only believe we'll be buried six feet under when we're gone
Many draw the line between right and wrong
Some even go to war, Victors prove the other side wrong
I just don't bother whether right or wrong, days will keep moving along
I don't where I'm going but if you feel what I'm saying raise your middle finger up to the norm
And just ride along
Ride with me to where the sunset in the wild wheels

So , decisions made yet I as well want to acknowledge

And unique it most definitely was - and interesting in learning about this amazing artisan, and wonderfully fun in writing on the subject about these works of art on four wheels!
