a hundred and more uears ago
a sixteen yr old kid was bored in
his high school class and started
writing four line poems, about people.
the first line had their name:
President Obama
the second line rhymes:
Is not your Momma
thee next two lines rhyme on their own:
So stand up straight
And carry your freight
but wait, thats not all!
the spirit of this poem about
a famous person must:
be light hearted, comical,
not mean in any way.
This style of poem became so famous, it
is named after that 16 yr old so many
years ago,
