Wow! That's a very interesting find! The band really needed Bruce and his big, "air raid siren" voice to take Maiden to the next level, plus I think Paul had some drug & alcohol issues, and was banned from a few places in the U.S., bless his soul. Maiden still tours and have basically become the Rolling Stones of heavy metal.
I don't listen to metal hardly at all anymore, but when I do it's Maiden, Judas Priest, or Motorhead, maybe Overkill. Much metal, of course, is just the blues played fast
These days I'm more into classic rock, older music...r&b, jazz fusion, even country...not much newer music, and by "newer music" I mean pretty much everything after 1994 lol

Some of the current best metal bands are from Finland, I dont often listen to music such as this but in certain times it can be good. Bands such as this one actually have a more melodic sound in stead of some others which are only bombing the sounds. I mean IF you can get into this you will hear that this music actually equals classical compositions and thats a skill!!
