Torrents of Insanity
Forever
Bum rushed by apparitions that
speak snow flakes and carry cigarette
burns, muses of abuses, smoother
than the inner thigh of Lilith
Such demons dragging me into
Dystopia, a stone’s throw from never
again, her legs pour over my shoulders
torrents of lava flowing down into my soul
I try to fuck away the agony
as each thrust buries a nail in my
crucifixion, pierce me that I might shit
the blasphemies of a mother’s womb
Face me to the north so I can
witness the rise and fall of gods
and men, her cunt bleeds apathy and
pain that I will drink forever

Torrents of Insanity
In the broken mirror of the mind,
distorted reflections dance,
echoes of laughter and tears,
in a sea of dreams and hopes.
Colors that scream in silence,
shapes that disappear into the air.
reality dissolves
in a whirlwind of non-places.
Words that are lost in the wind.
Verses that never meet.
Logic bends and breaks
in the torrents of insanity.
And in the chaos, beauty emerges
like a flower in the desert.
The soul finds its freedom
in the depths of the uncertain.

homo unius libri
I found it on a dark ramble
down long halls of doors
listened thru but never opened
my one bare foot drug on marbled floors
a door opened, yet not by me
inside I twirled in curtain filtered sunlight
the only furniture in the middle of the room
and on it sat a most marvelous sight
it’s texture on fingertips felt devine
it’s square shape beautifully pleasing
a thick shell over thinner pieces puzzling
yet begging to be pulled was so teasing
fingers curled under I lifted the top
it swung open revealing hidden treasure
black on white figures stared up at me
some singular some linked together
hundreds if not thousands swirling
their vortex surrounding me
torrents swept me back into the hall
chapter closed on my literacy

Chaos and Confusion
The world has gone into chaos and confusion
Of sheer virtual delusions against reality
Relying on whispers and magic spells
Reeled in by unstable notions of morality
Even the sagest seem to have lost their way
Not really seeing how their vision has gone dark
Their moral compasses compromised
Sowed by greed where creed used to be the mark
Over time they’ve sold their souls to absurdity
Fighting demons that are not really there
In constant adulation of their own creations
Never being able to awake from the nightmare
So, the world keeps going into further commotion
As truth and honor get distorted by the storm
Now, even the fundamental cohesions are broken
In a universe that’s taken on an eccentric form
Torrents of insanity and madness brings this shame
Yet everyone points a finger trying to find the blame
