Thought in the absence of all control exercised by reason

Point blank pistol
bullet up your nose
folded dog ear flicked by flea
twisted knee scrawney sinue
red lip chap stick slapstick
piano ice cream tray
red velvet curtain will the song play
chitty chitty bang bang over the cliff
snorkeling miss the fish paralaxed
waterski hits tyre
headlands look the same
borderlands the game
zombie moment insane
minni chedders wear red sweaters
in the month of may
calender notes dont play happy tunes
random selection breaths cold into my room
conversations left on window condensation
cavemen shadows dance lost intrance
rainbow hand drawn a thousand times
thumbs too hard to paint.

Natures concepts

Impinge but with a sense of loss
the hues that permeate our thoughts
A fronds, its splits,
divisions, where the ladder sits.
The transient to higher thought,
warped origins from trunks of innocence
so green.
Stem from a whiter branch maybe.
Pansies float like butterflies,
the mind of art that breeds disguise.
A shadow of a duck that floats,
a sign to raise our hopes
Washed up on the synoptic low.
Hollywoods, star staircase empty now,
where high aspirations  sit upon a bough,
Tabby cat will howl to no avail
and nature bows to only gales

Who I Am

Who am I to tell you who I am?

I am a daughter with a sacred ring
I am a son of the living king

I am the life animating bones
I am the skin in exotic tones

I am the breath of a better way
I am the sun of a brighter ray
I am a child, a prince, an heir
I have a crown, and beauty faire

I am the rhyme, without a scheme
I am the stitching without the seam
I am the wind; although you hear it
Truly fills my spirit

I am the voice in the wilderness call
I am the voice of the one in the hall
I am the one that appears to the One
I am the victory already won

JUDAS SUTRA (abridged)

thus i have heard
that judas was born on the cusp
of Taurus and Gemini
and was therefore conflicted
and prone to bouts of
blind faith and dire pragmatism
and so was the perfect foil for the lord
who had a bold plan to save mankind
involving the transubstantiation
of ordinary human cells into a glorified state
of pure holy light that would shine like
the sun for the lost sheep of israel and, hell,
why not for the lost sheep of every god damned nation
(that is, every nation God had damned,
which was just about every other nation)
and wasn't it about time for something like this
because the world was skewed
what with rome having chewed up and swallowed
God's chosen like a small bowl of fat grapes
and that was the only way judas made it into the club
because. hell, peter didn't like him
nor james nor john nor even young Nate
but the lord insisted
and that, my good friends,
is how the whole thing came to pass
amen

Eden, On Earth

It was the serpent’s fault—
slimy, slithery thing
gnawing on the roots, and
whispering lies, eating
from below.

Everywhere, a tree—
can we paint it back into existence,
Eden?

It was the woman’s fault—
she told him to taste;
it was good, very good.

And then, the horror
of knowing, came
like deluges of despair—
it was true, and the cord was severed.

It was God’s fault—
He made the woman, who
told him to eat;
(She said she was deceived.
She said she was sorry.)

All these colors, spinning
in circles, laughing
coils of snakes
entrapping the creation:

“If I can’t be a man, then
I shall pull wools over his eyes, and
torment with guilt, for
having foolishly believed me.”

Even the psychiatrist draws the trees, for
he, too, knows
what was lost in refusals to admit
one’s hand in original transgressions.

Yet, how lucrative
the earnings from despair, reapings
from what someone else has sown…for we still
blame (the) Father, for our mess.

IT Once Was  Mine

Bury me
or this ego of mine
apart, from who I am
This unconscious self
that exercises free will
separate from my own.
Demons move about
a relative alive within me
caters to this fully centered
 self.

Bury me
or this ego that reigns
over my wake, and sleep
This driven force, from somewhere inside
attempting to please Itself
as if, I don't mind
I have no say, over
this, that calls me its own

Bury me
or this ego that angers
me, fulfilling my needs
Infuriating my bones
to be like IT
Motivation beyond anything
seemingly real
This god awful imprint that
leaves me dry.
Sprinkled with bits the likeness
of me like colored sugar
over my personality

Bury me
and this ego of mine
sin so sweet it rots me
inside out.
A gladiator chest escorts
me wherever I go
These eyes see only days
of darkness surrounding
my every intent

Bury me
or this ego of mine
before more of me falls
off into this precipice
of forlorn existence
Bury this ego
of mine
this ego once mine

Evergrown

Spinal frond
visibly unfolding
as an indispensable
essence of Being

Its pelvic basin
of blood and bone
Holy os sacrum—
Soul's
arterial seating

Roots extend
anchoring
to burn
in the earthen
kingdom
below

Imperishable stars
ornately crown
its heavenly
kingdom
above

Our cerebellum
a centered revelation;
an arbor vitae
of white matter
(r)evolving

Thus each moment
we are becoming
neither light nor dark
befalling

But as the tree—
ever-growing
