Words make me wild (Video No. 3)

I am a forming cloud
unpredictable as the rose,
I wont be mapped
calculated or caught
in your curves.

I'll be ungoverned, a lawless
bitch the bites every hand,
stand for nothing, with no one.
Twist when I might turn
set my own fires
to burn away any trace.

Shun each embrace,
stifled under the pressure
of this false caress,
wipe my lips after each measured kiss,
drag you all beyond the abyss.

Murdering my childhood (Video No.2)

He was the first to leave the womb
shriveled in stainless-steel
I wondered if we had ever spoken
in that quiet place.

I could feel him at night
stealing light from my candle
feeding on scraps of pleasure
that might have sustained me.

I hear the sound a mind makes
when it takes too much
and mother breaks, leaving
her clothes beside the lake.

I see him now, dragging
across the cold tiled floor
following me to nowhere
I close the door and slide the bolt.

My life, my future, finding sunlight
on the other side of childhood
an adult restored from slaughter.

Unpredictable

Writing lines and rhymes at times is unpredictable
I don’t know when or where or what to expect
Sometimes I can’t find the words and feel miserable
When looking for the theme or topic or subject
Then suddenly, an idea starts to shape in the clouds
Slowly developing, evolving, growing into a storm
In a volatile style the wild concept abruptly sounds
With a thunderous voice as it begins to transform
Then with a bolt of light it suddenly comes out
Like   l
              i
                g
                     h
                          t
                      n
                  i
                      n
                             g
it strikes and hits a tree
and that’s where I find the words
     where I find my inspiration
                    To write
                         P
                         O
                         E
                         T
                         R

Congratulations to Missy on the win with a very beautiful poem. Congrats to Razzerleaf on runner up with two wonderful entries (I just noticed the cloud and unpredictable reference as well, the muse must've been talking to us).
Thank you to RiAN on the runner up mention, always a pleasure to stand on the podium with other talented folks here.
