Right.
I'm all for 3rd party candidates, 4th, 5th - the more the merrier and necessary to what is a system that is exploited to shut out anyone not Republican or Democrat; the ability for the people to craft a worthwhile electoral process is extremely limited to almost nonexistant.
But the me-me-me attention whoring gets old.
Like many, I voted for Ross Perot as a form of protest, in the hopes that a 3rd party could get a concrete foothold via the weakening of the other two. Unfortunately, we've not had a strong enough contender since.
The fact that we have endured a national meltdown under Donald Trump after 8 years of economic comeback from recession and continual growth along with Islamophobia fabricated for political gain castrated under Barack Obama doesn't inspire much confidence there will ever be such a contender again.
It literally is going to take a Moses of sorts who recognizes that the system must be redesigned from within in order to free his people without an Old Testament god coming in on their behalf to get the job done.
However, I feel that given Law of Attraction and everyone across the planet having their own point of attraction, our ability to shape our world gets watered down in the emphasis on select groups of people doing it for us.

I don't believe it's a genuine bid. Kanye has been to the Whitehouse and too chummy with Trump. I feel the only way Trump thinks he can defeat Biden is to throw a third party in there that stands even a halfway chance of drawing black votes ( and potentially others ) away from Biden. I can't imagine the percentage being high, but still. . .every vote counts this election.
This is absolutely surreal that a rapper, at the last moment, would enter a presidential race he knows he's not going to win. What other reason would he have?

I don't think it was a dumb move from political point of view.
We all know he doesn't believe in it but at the same token, I don't think Biden believes in it either. I think all poltiicians do not believe in any of this, IMO. Neither do the health care providers. At least not to the extreme that's being manipulated into.
It's all politics, strategy and business.
There's great deal of $$$ and power behind all this.
Especially for the pharmaceutical companies, playing HUGE role in this and now they've secured majority of the drug loot from the world.
But all this is just temporary, till November, when they knock off Trump, things will miraclously get 'better'
The mask issue, i completely agree with you 1000%, I don't want to repeat myself again since I've explained my point of view in another thread but I will say one thing from a discussion I had with my immediate supervisor today after overhearing her own boss complain to her in the backroom on how annoying it is to wear and how she feels like she's suffocating.
I was very careful to share how exactly I felt also about the issue so I tiptoed around the subject, mainly stressing how the public is not trained or taught how to wear a mask, or how long a mask should be worn before it needs to be changed or washed.
We are not in the health field so this is all new to us and yet the news media, the gov, the officials fail to teach us the proper sanitary guidlines in wearing these things, and also the right masks for each individual.
But she got a bit defensive saying that she had done some research and found a mask that was 'natural' cotton and breathable and she felt its more safe than the blue/white surgical masks provided to us by the company.
I just smiled and nodded...poor soul, i thought..there is no such thing as 'Natural" lol
