At what level
do we vibrate
in our
phycological state
what feelings
do we create
to cover
our mistakes
that we ignorantly made
to calm
our shallow thoughts
that scream in rage
every time
we try
to turn

^ My hope is that funding will be diverted into enacting a better screening process during the hiring of police officers so that those like Chauvin are less likely to end up with a badge. ^

Thick bureaucracies
Citizens, misunderstanding that they are the ones to be protected, have demanded increased professionalization. This has mainly contributed to an already existing tendency toward a thicker and more unresponsive bureaucracy.
Police are now an unprecedented powerful cultural and political force protected by unions, the brotherhood, police services acts, increased authority, lax prosecution and a protective blanket offered by the courts. The unfettered growth of so many branches of police raises legitimate concerns that we are in a police state. [. . .]

Morton Klein, the head of the Zionist Organization of America, demanded that the Southern Poverty Law Center, a civil rights organization, “immediately put Black Lives Matter on their list of hate groups.”
Klein says “ “BLM is a Jew-hating, white-hating, Israel-hating, conservative Black-hating, violence-promoting, dangerous Soros-funded extremist group of haters”

the silence of the grave
A Sonnet to the Memory of George Floyd
Strangled to Death 2020 May 25
i know not whether i’m naked before men,
while lying in this cold and silent den;
should they speak ill of me, i have no clue,
nor can i measure what is false or true,
when covertly they whisper over me
to see me shackled, who stood once so free.
this is a lonely place—silent as death;
hate’s knee upon my neck has stilled my breath!
i would suppose that life, so glibly snatched,
appeases him from God who’s unattached.
i cannot breach the silence of the grave,
but may the living yet be bold and brave:
o let my fallen soul lift others up
and liberate them from this bitter cup.

Dismantling
On Sunday night, a majority of the Minneapolis City Council agreed to dismantle the city's police department.
In an interview with NBC News, Councilman Jeremiah Ellison said the council would work to disband the department in its "current iteration."

Dear Sleep Paralysis
Take me into the darkest places of my mind
Allow me to roam freely
A glimpse of my reality
And what will become of me
Submerge me into my deepest fear
Until everything is overbearing
Peel, rip, crush, tear
The smile that lit my cheek
Until I'm left with blank expressions
And emotions are no more
Drag me through my utmost desires
And burn the hope that hangs so thin
Then bury me into the pit of nothingness and
Leave me there to dream
Allow me to roam freely
A glimpse of my reality
And what will become of me
Submerge me into my deepest fear
Until everything is overbearing
Peel, rip, crush, tear
The smile that lit my cheek

Momma Bear Says Climb inside Trojan Horse
There is a Trojan
horse here today
one that hijacks
a righteous cause
Says they only
want to defund
city protection
but they hold signs
that say dismantle
the police and they
threaten residents
who’s parents stood
with their parents
for equality
so...
When humility
drives the horse
with our men inside
we can stop terrorists
from driving
inside our hearts
and burning down our
Diamond District

We Are The People (Straight Talk)
African Americans are an ethnic group of Americans with total or partial ancestry from any of the black racial groups of Africa.
The phrase generally refers to descendants of enslaved black people who are from the United States. In addition, our demographics make up 12.3% of America's population.
#BlackLivesMatter was not intended as a reprimand on society, however it was originated in merit to conform the standard misrepresentation we befall when not given us the same due process which protects us by the Fourteenth Amendment, meaning, a civilian is innocent until proven guilty.
However, when our own Law Enforcement Officers take it upon themselves to become the judge, jury and the prosecutors, then yes, it is consequences that citizens of this nation will adhere too, bringing with it civil unrest, voices in union demanding explanations, swift justice to the perpetrator(s)
The termed slogan, “No justice, No peace” has rang out so loudly since the sixties, doing the segregation, when racial disparity was at its all-time high.
Marches from Selma, Alabama to the sweltering heat felt in Memphis, Tennessee. Several sit-ins, riots, and boycotts in lieu of demanding justice and equality were in full effect.
Police Brutality is a common occurrence within many African American neighborhoods; troubling cases of improper handling of suspects while being detained in custody, their fourth Amendment has been violated.
For most, not all, it is quite discouraging to believe in a lawful system that is blind when it involves mainly African American citizens; males to be politically correct in my correlating analogy.
Then to add insult to injury, you have your everyday day citizen, calling 911 and making false claims of people of color; it makes for a hostile environment, and therefore, hinders unity.
We have to stand and be counted in a country as a single individual, in reference, often misinterpreted to mean that African Americans as individuals were once considered three-fifths of a person or that they are three-fifths of a citizen of the U.S., the three-fifths clause (Article I, Section 2, of the U.S. Constitution of 1787).
Take into consideration it was a declared creed for purposes of representation in Congress, all enslaved blacks in a state would be counted as three-fifths of the number of white inhabitants of that state.
African Americans are incarcerated at higher rate than other any other minority due to improper representation, or in some occurrences blind justice prevailed; the state of Florida versus George Zimmerman case, who was acquitted in 2013.
Therefore when you see the frustration in the protestors eyes, and words of anger chanting resonating in respect for a love ones unjustly taken from a mother arm’s from; Tamir Rice (2014), Eric Gardner (2014) Sandra Blank (2015), Philando Castile (2017) and the latest Breonna Taylor (2020) and George Floyd (2020), just to name a few, then you will come to understand, and can respect the cause behind the meaning and the movement of #BlackLivesMatters,
No justice no peace
And that is straight talk live for your mind, stay mindful and vigilant until our spirits connect on an intellectual higher plane.

BLACK
They're on administrative leave like they asked us permission to leave our bodies... Lifeless
Or
They should have gotten permission to be dismissed BEFORE they left our bodies... Lifeless
Land of the free....How about Land on our Knees
Where we should be until we all can stand as tall as a tree.... Not hanging, from a tree
The noose has been replaced by a shiny black casing, The broken neck has been replaced by blood freely flowing The tree has been used to make OUR encasing.... The result... [hashtag]this [hashtag]that [hashtag]blacklivesmatter
but... [hashtag]itdoesntmatter because apparently we are not all made of equal matter
Sterling Silver used to be considered quality , but apparently...that's dead.
B stands for bold. Beautiful. Brave. Boisterious, without the B in black there consists just a Lack of color, creativity, attitude...
Lying to us daily, telling us our skin color isn't a crime only that it cuts short our time to be
Alive. Breathing, Heart beating, Lub Dub Lub Dub Lu....ve you are the two words that you may never hear. Are the two words that they don't get to hear because
Crack. Pop pop pop Hands up Don't ..... Blood flowing on the streets, like road kill, except I'd hoped by now evolution would have taken us to the top of the animal kingdom, but there's still more outrage over Harambi the silverback than Philando Castile, violently attacked...
Pronunciation please: Blac (black) B-L-A-C
is still the same pronouncement without the
K.....K... K . Still afraid to wake up day after day after day... Not knowing if this could be our last where the blackness on our skin becomes our permanent surroundings
Or Not knowing if this could be our last where the blackness on our skin becomes the ghost of Christmas future, the past and present left to rest in peace...
We should be praising the Lord when we wake up on the land of living, breathing, heart beating, lub dub lub dub.... HANDS UP ..... But you asked for my license's I was already reaching...
Don't shoot.... But I wasn't planning to, my four year old is in clear view.

No Country for Old Guilt (how toughies will/do win)
It’s as simple as sin
old men and women
misinformation
makes you think
you are soft targets
reverse the role play
residents who are
being overridden
with looters and thieves
Shame them in
front of their homies
You’ll be dead
on a hill
soon enough
from old age
...so why not make
it an honorable
one for your time?
Remember the
white hairs
toppled by blue
Now film
Blacklivesmatters
doing that to you!
America
be their
righteous victim
their Palestine

FINALLY. You’re Listening. Now DON’T FLINCH.
I don’t want to chat. I can’t take care of you. You have another chance fix your wrongs. And this time, DON’T FLINCH.
I went into gall bladder surgery in early March with the desperate anticipation of an addict: Please, please give me the drug of long, dreamless sleep.
I am so damn tired. I am 400 years of broke down and exhausted, and so are my family, our friends, the people down the street whom we don’t know but still love.
I don’t want to chat. And if you are brave enough to call me, now that I have my bearings back, somewhat, you better be woman or man enough to take it.
But my advice right now? Don’t call me. Don’t call me and cry. Don’t ask to sit at my feet and learn. Don’t text me. And don’t flinch.
Don’t flinch
White people, for reasons I cannot fathom, you call yourselves confused about this most recent barrage of violent deaths of black people at the hands of other white people. For some reason, you think passing around the videos and applying hashtags shows you care. And for some reason, despite being told over and over, despite being shown over and over, despite being begged to stop, over and over, you say you weren’t aware that this was happening to us. And for some reason, you don’t understand why we raise brows at Fourth of July antics, at the insistence that we cheer a flag that oppresses us.
For some reason, your concern about a dog being jerked around is louder and shriller than the anger at a false police report. For some reason, your concern about justifiable rage is less than your concern about the reasons behind the rage. You’re more upset about a church burning in another country than about the grieving people who drag themselves into offices and school conferences and listen, again, to how they aren’t articulate enough or their kids are not bright-eyed and bushy-tailed enough for you.
I know the church was pretty. But I’d burn the Mona Lisa and the Louvre my damn self if it got your attention.
You instead turn it around, and demand that we be civil. You demand we contain our pain. You demand we ignore our humanity, the same way you do. That stops now.
You instead turn it around, and demand that we be civil. You demand we contain our pain. You demand we ignore our humanity, the same way you do. You insist that we gaslight ourselves. That stops now.
