I think the poster's name was slarote ...?

Yes; that was it. Her avatar looked like an African American female to me, thus I assumed she was.

P.S. - This is a "Free Speech" thread. . .just say'n . . .

I blew her image up , full size , and she did not look black in any way to me...

Interesting viewpoint...

Even if it was not...and , no , we know , generally ,
online , you can not be certain , it was her words ,
and phrasing of speech in her emails , that was a
clue to me , as the way she conveyed her thoughts...

I think we can just leave it behind now , for good of all...

And just wish her well , wherever she has gone , and
whatever her racial heritage was...my wish for her...

Thank you for clarifying that.

Trump retaliates against Twitter and other social media platforms because ... well ... he's a bully.

Executive Order Is Expected to Curtail Protections for Social Media Companies

https://www.nytimes.com/2020/05/28/us/politics/trump-executive-order-social-media.html

The Trump administration is preparing an executive order intended to curtail the legal protections that shield social media companies from liability for what gets posted on their platforms, two senior administration officials said early Thursday.

Being that this thread revolves around the topic of Freedom of Speech, any posts on any subject are welcome - as long as they are civil. I along with most others would appreciate that posters refrain from personal attacks and if they can't, are discouraged from further doing so.

To hear from a voice of someone who actually is part of a certain part of society, community or even nationality is most often an organic way to understand the truth in deeper level.  I think that this whole conversation of whether the woman was african american was blown out of proportion yesterday or what her picture looked like or perceived to be.
The news of what happened in Minneapolis was all over the country and the world, it was horrific and the cops getting fired was just not enough and i’m sure we will hear more of how the law will handle their brutality.
As much as we feel empathy what we see or hear, there’s always more, much more that we don’t get to hear or feel like the ones who do live the injustice on daily basis.
I hope the mystery of that thread will be solved.  I’m sure when the mods look into it there’s a record somewhere in the archives.

I have removed, and I retract my rude comment
I will do my best, to stay off any threads where these people  are involved.
The type of behavior exhibited here rubs me raw
The bait and hook game has nabbed  two.
There is  no excuse for the voluntary entrapment
The tmanipulation and denial that surrounds these individuals is  blinding Nowhere in the definition of free speech does it involve deliberately provoking someone to  anger then  claiming to have an innocent attitude while inserting
more ammunitionn
I feel the need to shake the dust off
Of my feet

We can only hope for that and that Slarote feels welcome enough to return, if the hiding of the thread made her feel unwelcome in any way.  It would certainly suck if she was under the impression she had been Censored.
