Poetry Contest Description
Mining for Innovation
Submit your most creative or flamboyant visual designs; images you have digitized through some means. Examples are smudging or creating layers but not just pulled pictures straight from the internet and slapping a dollop of text on top. Drawings, sketches included; thoughtful, organic integration. 2 entry max.
The piece with the artwork (done by me on Muro & MSPaint) was written for the DUP competition "Visual Poetry Monthly: February 2017". My illustration shows a Thai dancer & a Japanese kabuki actor as interpretation of the title. There was a limit of up to only 50 words so that's why the brevity of verse.
