through various web sites and a couple of documentaries - Now as to it being fact - facts are always dubious at best, always up to the teller who tells the tale - he does as much research as is practical and the he shines a light on what he has learned - I have also written similar poems about Gandi and mother Thearesa - I wrote these poems to encourage people to do their research before being frog marched into accepting heroes that we are told to give that status to and by way of telling others that Heroes are much rarer and that we should pick their own - So are these things true facts - some believe that they are :-)))

but that nice man
the physiatrist
said
you have another mental problem
so you have to take
these other pills
what that man who smiles
like a shark mummy
what shark baby
you know the one
that one on the dvd
who wants to eat the jelly fish
no he doesn't baby
he is a nice man
he knows everything
about childrens problems
so you have to take
these other pills
but mummy
why
before you made me
take pills
I never hurt like this
baby
its for your own good
because you keep daydreaming
and you don't sit still in class
but mummy
sometimes
I get bored
that's why
you have to take the pills baby
but mummy
my friends mum says
its normal
for children to daydream
to not sit still
to be bored sometimes
to shout or cry for no reason
my friends mum says
its all part
of growing up
did grandma make you
take pills
when you were bored
mummy
no baby
so why
do you make me
mummy

in Daddy
What's wrong son
why did Mum say
I can't play
with my best friends
anymore
because son
she's your mother
she knows better
but dad
I'm nearly ten
I'm not a baby
why can't I play
with my best friends
anymore
because my son
they are different from us
they are coloured
and they smell
but so are we dad
no we're not son
we are white
but mummy said
when I was a baby
I was pink
and grandad
looks grey
and he smells funny
and when you were ill
you looked yellow
and you smell
so dad
who's the coloured ones
Wack
do what I say
I'm your father

Up and down this spiral mind
My positive time turns negative
A perfect fourth spins to perfect fifth
A creative Ohm to destructive writ...
Clockwise thought in a counterclockwise spin...()
Pineal spirits, gland cognitive center
Third eye seekers are welcome to enter
Solomon's demon in picatrix measure
Stirring the cauldron, the demonic pleasure...
Brainwashed masses on the worldwide play
Leaders bring the chains to mental slave
The hearts of man while a summit is set
For guilty parties pay the eternal debt...
A washing time frame to cover their sins
Renaming their game, sow deception no end
A new marker they hold as they spit on the soul
A beggar of morsels, the story we're sold...
A transmutation of the seeded mind...from the base of ignorance
Into a precious illumination...an alchemical deliverance...
Their minds break through a paroketh veiling
With no understanding of the past
Then walk in timeless dreaming circles
Never knowing if the curve will last...
Spirits of planets summoned, speaking to the sect
Plangeair's grimoire affecting in effect
Abra Melin spun his magic shifting across the sand
Latter days souls in play, no longer a place to stand...

Fire Descending
He was an admirable man,
A respected man,
Someone with integrity,
Especially because of his position,
And when I got to know him,
During grief recovery courses,
I saw he was a humble individual,
Very well regarded
By the members of the congregation.
And over the years,
As I watched him from the balcony seat,
I was usually amazed at his
Insightful and well thought out messages,
Wisdom seemed to pour through
These heartfelt talks.
But it was heart breaking to hear,
That one day he said goodbye and disappeared,
Because he would be assigned somewhere else.
And yet when the gossip came around,
The truth come out,
He had been weak,
Just like any ordinary man.
We shouldn’t place faith on men,
We are imperfect creatures,
Because looking up at someone
For their respected traits and features,
We must remember they too are human beings,
Who make mistakes,
Just like the rest of us.
When men in highly regarded positions fall down,
The plummet to the ground
Is like watching fire descending from the sky,
Some will question their own beliefs,
As a way to handle their grief,
And some will simply be led astray.

Breath
I allow my heart
to steal my breath
knowing that
it seals my death.
How foolish of
my heart to dwell
on words that can't
give life,
make well.
To worship
words of men
is folly.
It serves
a cadence
melancholy.
It's truth
and light
I yearn to know.
My heart deceives
my path to go
on tangents dark
without a light
to guide direction's
journey right.
My mind
my heart
my strength
my soul
must breathe the air
with constant flow
that never fails
nor will deceive
does not abandon
never leaves
that fills me with
the breath that gives
the joy to love
the will to live
the strength to stay
to try,
endure
the mind to grow
the thoughts assured
of peace to know
both truth and light,
know first by faith -
then follows sight.
“You will show me the way of life, granting me the joy of your presence and the pleasures of living with you forever.”
Psalms 16:11

Broken Wings
(fairy tale gone wrong)
She thought he was an angel
a woodland wizard
a time traveller
a magic muse
a hallowed hero
but now she knows
that he is but a man,
a man who is stuck
in his life as it were muck,
not regarding decorum as to
whose life it is he plays with
in his boredom
whose life it is he discards
in his neglect
whose life it is that he had
raised to great heights
before dropping it
from the treetops
when he heard his name
echoing...
echoing
from the garden below
perhaps it was she
who was the angel,
after all
- rising on wings of forgiveness

Thank you, Cloventongue, for your recognition and encouragement! This was an interesting theme, and I enjoyed reading through everyone's different takes on the subject.
