Poetry Contest Description
Write A Tribute To Michael Jackson
Since the anniversary of my idol Michael Jackson's death is on June 25th I would like to host this little competition in honor of him and show not just my love, but see if there's any fellow fans out there who would like to share their love or appreciation for his legacy and music.
You can still do this competition if you felt sad for his death and like his music.
Rules:

Star Child
(an ethereal Michael Jackson tribute)
Cherished little star blinking afar
While sound bytes of its crooning echo
Through eternity, from the first cry
To the last sigh as the dark matter
Takes it in with century fingers
Into its star nursery where it shines,
Hidden from prying lenses and eyes.
Let this be what his soul has become.
Everything that completes the cycle
From whence he began light years ago,
The star child of Michael many times.
Born and passed on, and born yet again.
How could it ever be otherwise
As each time the fire serves the diamond.
Meantime, you know he's never left you.
Giving the warmth of his image bright
Comforts your breast & swaddles your heart
Till his return, summoned, like birdsong.

Yeah he went through a huge thing with Sony at the time and he exposed Tony Motolla the guy who was running it and was also married to Mariah Carey at the time. She even exposed him for who he was after they divorced.
The sad thing was this was all going on while Michael's Invincible album was coming out so of course that was causing some problems since the album was still by Sony.
