SILLY BILLIE YOU'RE SO SILLY
This is the story of Silly Billie
A little boy who was so silly
He lost his friend whose name was Willie
Because he stold candy from his sister Millie.
He didn’t stop there – that Silly Billie
Feeling alone without his friend whose name was Willie
He made a new friend who was just as silly!
Loud and rambunctious and all up-hilly
The librarian, whose name was Chantilly,
Did not like noise nor anyone O so silly!
Influenced by Willie, Silly Billie was given a “Silly Willie”
When he cried out
And the librarian threw him out!

THE OLD CHICKEN COUP
There she stood with tears rolling down her face and cheeks
Looking downward – such innocence – mild and meek
Her first trip to the slaughter house was no joke
Proved to be a one-sick hoax!
Slowly but surely – she told us the story
Leaving out NOT the gory!
“I was asked by dad
To join him fast
To pick out a chicken
“O Good Rid dens!
At last – no fret
I’m picking out my very first pet!"
Is what I thought

ATTN DEFICIT HYPERACTIVE DISORDER (ADHD)
The boy was as quiet as a viper
Often talkative and very hyper
One thought crossed another
One topic intercepted the other.
Running…Running…Racing thoughts
Way too many to be caught.
He jumped and jived that young little boy
Who had ways of being cunning and coy!
Poor little fellow…they gave him pills
To settle him down and stay still!
“He lacks attention!”

IRONIC EXISTENCE
Ironic – isn’t it…?
The ver essentials we need to survive
Are the same essentials that endanger and destroy us!
The very same people we love
Are the same loved ones we hurt or hurt us –
The very same life occurrences and events
That cause us to smile and laugh
Are the same occurrences and events that cause tears and humiliation!

The same life we cherish and deem of priceless worth
And we hold fast to never foresee its end
Is the same life we mis-care for and waste
Toss aside and risk and gamble away

Does Anybody Dream a Comedy
I'm wakin' up again from a bad nightmare
and I don't think I can fall back asleep
even though it's late, I know I'll be okay
but I'm tired of the same old, same old, tragedy
does anybody dream a comedy
or am I the only one who never has?
is it odd I've never heard a laugh
or a piano playin' Alley Cat
so I'm wonderin' if anybody dreams in comedies
unlike me
the road is dry and boring on this long haul out to west Texas
and I'm itchin' for a break to catch some zzz's
not because I'm tired, no, the situation's...

Toot for truth
In all you do
As one who toots his fluted flute.
A shoot for truth
Spooks the mute
As one who blocks truth

“Wishy-Washy” leafy green
Your deceptive lies are unforeseen
With your haughtiness of arrogance
You stand alongside God in attracting elegance.
Blinding the essence of life and reality of death
Fatally consuming every stride of one’s very breath
Root of pride – Root of lies
For you – everyone complies!
Even a saint may beam a thief
As you betray all to a life of grief!
When they become your captive prey
Yet, no one shuns you far away
