i'm so lost, has judging started?

"Take it Easy" by the Eagles is probably the best backdrop for my life at the moment
and i am having trouble concentrating.

Cameron, you may lose and Craic may win, though you both won't see John Rot again, he's opened up, and I'm climbin' in, [just like when Han Solo used a lightsaber to cut open a dead Tauntaun.... ] so take it easy.

Yeah, the judges are judging... sorry about leaving you all out in the cold.

Shame to see you go, JR, especially since it was the deadline that was the trouble. Not like the powers couldn't have given you extra time for personal stuff. I mean, we were all entered a week ago.
Ah well. You made a good show of it. Next time, brother, next time. [:

Yeah these deadlines are a pain... Good work so far JR, you and everyone else. Now for the next round of axed poets...

Host isn't following his own damn deadlines. Where are you HeadCase?

My apologies for not meeting my own deadline [atakti], but there was some good swell around the past few days, resulting in a large volume of water entering my sinuses from spending too much time being pummelled underwater, which lead to headaches and an aching body, rendering me unconscious in my bed yesterday evening... another thing [atakti] [smirk] the whole point of the 48 hours is to put a bit of pressure on your creativity, I haven't been hard on late entries, I didn't write any rules around late entries and I haven't been to pushy with judges either, because poets have lives outside poetry, if we didn't there wouldn't be much to write about... also, apologies if I upset some poets by cutting JR open like a Tauntaun, it was a metaphor that JR is a jedi knight on the inside who will survive to fight another battle. Results!

Round Three Challenge 2

The elements have been tweaked again, with fiction genres being combined into a double genre. The location is within a vehicle, which is also accompanied by a short video to set the scene. Take what you want from the video to fuel your inspiration. Be creative.

You have 48 hours to complete this challenge starting from the time of this post... if you need more time or if you can longer compete in the comp, you better have a creative excuse. [smirk]
