I am a 24 year old Criminal Justice student, who also works part-time in the fast-food industry. I have had two children and I am currently pregnant with my third. When I am not being a wife, mother, student or worker, I am usually found either reading or writing.
I used to post toallpoetry[dot]com, so if something looks familiar that is probably where you have seen it, posted by the username Iris N. Kaldwell which is my nom de plume. I have been writing for 11 years; and can find inspiration in many things, though I prefer writing free-verse or a form called cascade.
I love butterflies, and have always loved the idea of them. To me they symbolize freedom and dreams, always changing from caterpillar to cuccoon to grow, to become more beautiful. I am also known as a "poetic sparrow" by my friends because of some circumstances of which I have survived through my short 24 years of living.
