I reside on the edge of the Quinault Hoh Rainforest on the central coast of Washington State.

Deer browse in my yard, elk visit my horses at summer pasture. I prefer the wilderness to cities, although in my lifetime I have known them both quite well. I am Alaskan by nature, Oregonian by birth. Aberdeen has become my middle earth... a rather rainy hideaway from the outside world.
