I'm nobody, Who are you? -Emily Dickinson
'When a woman has scholarly inclinations there is usually something wrong with her sexuality. -Nietzsche
I am in my forties and have been writing poetry in silence for years but now I post....
The following are poems from my current collection, Afternoon Tarnish,
a deeply existential and labarynthine collection that expresses my progression
of growth into interesting writing... I call it 'modern existentialism'...
Its becoming something of an expose'... I am open to publishing some day...
I am also writing a collection of classical inspirations.
I am still working on the 'piece de resistance', a love epic and short story
Also I will post some poems from my older collection, Noon Realizations,
which I wrote in my thirties, and it reflects an earlier more simplistic style...
Also to come are some excerpts from my book, 'Journals to My True Love'
which were written by journaling in notebooks, literally and are more or less
a fantastical story and self journey.... Part 1 was written in my thirties and Part 2 is ongoing.....
To all poets : Poetry is art, not a textbook... Believe in your art and you will succeed!
More to come....
