Someone once asked me to describe myself, and I just started writing and this is what came out.
I am Don Grey Day, a man of mystery and intrigue.
I am mostly me and that is the only way that I can describe it, mostly me.
There are many sides to me, I wear many hats.
I'm just like everyone else and yet I am like no one that you have met before
and I know that you will never meet anyone else like me
I have a Dark Side, not evil and sinister, but it is dark nonetheless.
Once in awhile, I let light into my life and it flashes like blue/white lightning jags
across the Shadowlands of my mind
I am a caring and loving single father and surrogate mother to my kids.
I stand on the borderline of The Lunatic Fringe, not as a participant but merely a
curious by-stander. I am fiercely loyal to those I love and care for but keep my
distance intact. To get too close is to let them in on what makes me - me.
I am everything that most guys try to be, want to be and need to be but I know
that they could never handle all the static electricity that I call my mind.
I am everything, and no one of interest - I am simply me, and I am a man
