Words are what overflows from the soul. We cannot resurrect yesterday and we will never catch tomorrow. We live our life in the span between the two. Some times we live it well, and sometimes we don't.  But the key is that you live it with all you've got! Poetry is so powerful because it consists of concentrated emotions. It has the power to allow the reader to feel great joy or devastating sadness. To have raunchy sex or sky dive. A poet has no limitations. No boundaries. They can do anything, go anywhere be anyone they want to be. They can prick your heart and touch you profoundly. They can challenge your mind and soul to think on hard matters. A poem can pick you up and move you.
