Zombies Need Love Too
I've heard it said
that all things come to an end
but I never saw this coming
not just my love
and dreams of the future
there is something deep inside
that died
and I'm afraid
that others can smell the decay
no matter how much deodorant I use
that people will know I'm the walking dead
a zombie looking for love
decomposing right before your eyes
thinking if I eat enough brains
I can heal my lifeless heart
and I will live again
to see myself as I look in the mirror
and not this hideous thing ...
