nipped in the buds!
it's a bit nippy today!
nip nip nippity nip!
can't think of anything witty to say,
quip quip quipidy quip!

On The Subject Of Farting
Little Comment
On a long winded conversation
That
Ultimately
Is no more
Than
Hot air
The wind
Lies
Within
The willows
No need to worry
Unless it billows!
(the answer
is blowing in the wind)

Dance Of The Emeralds
They lay
In neat little rows
All connected
Veins exposed
Like choirs
In an emerald green
As they began
To sing, and dance
Shimmering, and rustling
Guided by the breeze
Susurrations
Psithurisms
Create the music
Of the emeralds
Gently caressing each other
Briefly
Like a stolen kiss
As they sing
Swish, swish
The wind dies down
The emeralds, fall still
Now silent
Amongst the branches
And aching limbs

Wind Chimes
When I am gone, please hang wind chimes in my memory,
So that I may sing to you in the evening breeze.
So that I may sing to you in the evening breeze.

daytime stellar nurseries skinnydipping into the Now
magnetic windblown
memories
curve horizonward
like civilizations forgotten
fractal tears
unwept
history's arc
pooling intoxicatingly
a distilled concoction
rising
scorched and triumphant
breath perfumed
with poesy
pile of masks
discarded
cityscapes of sandcastles
glittering through stained-glass thoughts
immutable soul beauty
rebuffing tide's twinkling caress

The Integrity of Cottonwood Trees
like tattered ashes
of scorched bark
you send out seeds
sacrificially
dancing on the whim
of labored wind
drifting through
my line of vision
now entranced
by your soot spirits
serendipitously
sent to guide me
i do not question
your intentions
breathing life
into broken wings
of scorched bark
you send out seeds
sacrificially
dancing on the whim
of labored wind
drifting through

serendipitously
sent to guide me
i do not question

On The Eve Of June
Today, is a cool
Yet sunny, windy day
And i can see
The leaves, in trees
Gently rustling
And the flag
Atop the Hastings castle ruins
Fluttering
Like wings
Of a new born dragon

Wuthering
A flirtatious wind
Lifted up my skirt
Then brushed past my lips
As we began to flirt
Shortly followed by
A gentle zephyr breeze
Which caressed my thighs
With a sensual tease
There then followed
A strong roaring gust
Which swept me away
And turned me to dust

Zephyr (NaPoWriMo 2022 #23)
Walking into
or with
the wind,
facing to
or away,
the buffeting
as cardigan pockets
flap to the flurry.
Seeds, kernels and leaves
caught and carried,
bewildered
by wild breeze,
are percussion
over concrete kerbs.
Into the wind
sounds behind
disappear
within silence,
alongside
only air
graces the ear.
The gust
can carry
warmth with it,
or press a chill
through to bones.

Tempests’ Temptation

Tempests’ Temptation
During the last past monsoon
I remember telling the indoor Cat
(who I let outside for 2 to 3 hrs per day)
“ I’ll let You out when I get home;
this morning, I must write
a poem. “
I love writing during rain &
prefer the clap of thunder nearby
as opposed to the bolts of light.
I thought about getting struck
but shrugged it off as a tiny ado.
Why am I tempted to write
during wet williwaws?
I think, maybe it tempers
my emotions with balance ...

Water shortage
In the deepest valley where the winter is short
summers long, sheep come home for safety
of bears and wolves, he bought an old house.
From a two hundred years house, a cane roof sprung
splendid isolation he lived the seasons fair.
Unknow to him and other dwellers of this Paradise

filling it with water to serve the city far away.
This ancient village, built stone by stone, drowned.
