Buried On The Surface
The sun walks slowly to its sepulture
in the horizon, the death of a day
as the cooling blanket of night covers
her creatures all, the beasts and the lovers
Moonlight caresses the catafalque stone
as if to query the desire to rise
whispers of the ancient ones sing to me
hymns of the lost souls, longing to be free
The night is clear though I see no starlight
wrought with the overcast of emotions
such a deluge, this downpour of desire
moving me, as sights and sounds inspire
Walking the world unseen and...

Snakeskin Soul And A Lipstick Heart
Through nebulous undertones
And a snakeskin soul
She sauntered over to the bar
"What'll it be"
"The usual"
"Lady I never saw you before"
Looking him up and down appraisingly
"Well then, time to start new traditions"
"Something cold and hard with a twist"
The bartender shook his head
Knowing better than to argue
He concocted a drink in his mind named Sexy Demon
The woman moved through the crowd
Sipping her drink and sizing up her poison
Tall short dark light mmm ...

Shadow (My version of vampire)
Who are we on this weird sphere we call Earth? I walk among all of you in complete shadow and observe, what seems to me as being alive, if you can call what I seen, as being alive. You wake up in a cloud of complete delusion that you are doing what needs to be done to survive. You have no purpose in life. Your hopes and dreams seemed to be crushed around the age of twenty-one. sadness withdraws a shadow hanging her head
drinking my sorrow it really knows how to make me bleed
hurting in the cold wondering where I went wrong
needing a love that can comfort
internally seeking what isn't mind to have
damning the day that brought me here
distilling the feelings of bitterness
realizing my honey would draw me a suitor
altering my theory I flow with the breeze
