Thus Herod spake to three wise men
‘’Seek, so that I, might also...find...
this ‘’king’’ soon born in Bethlehem’’

A Christmas Quarrel.
Twas Christmas day in the workhouse
when Ebenezer's pappy died,
leaving Scrooge poor as a church mouse,
that Christmas day in the workhouse.
Haunted it gave him cause to grouse
scrimped, slaved and saved he never cried,
On Christmas day in the workhouse
when Ebenezer's pappy, died.

He got chained to work but got rich
and worked his workers nigh to death,
with tiny mind he penny pinched
crippled his workers as he got rich.
He had an itch an' he scratched it
worked...
when Ebenezer's pappy died,

The Masquerade
The supermarket masquerades
as parades of stores on high streets,
wherein shop keepers ply their trades
in supermarket masquerade,
Where newsagents and florist played
by assistants and so discrete,
one thinks ' shop-keepers ' portrayed
in supermarket masquerade.
And the butcher with their sharp blades
pretends they've prepared cuts of meat,
they are merely playing charades
of destroyed shops on high-streets.
And I have seen how these degrade
and make desert of the high street, ...

thought the rumour a load of bull,
'bout a wild bull... being his dad?

saw red, stomped and snorted, got mad
felt the labyrinth's peaceful pull,

Oh, poor Echo...
She nattered, an error,
and in angering Hera
was cursed to parrot tongues,
She fell for a fella
in love with his mirror,
and pined...

with paper, perhaps, as midwife,
this birth may raise a triffic stink
