Dementia, Alzheimers.......
I work with carers
Caring for loved ones
They don't get paid for this
They do it out of love
For someone that now
Sometimes , no longer recognises them
Or acts unappreciative
For this care
Sometimes abusive
And even physically aggressive
But each carer knows
That this person they love
Has an illness
Through no fault of their own
And were they aware
Of what lay ahead
Would be horrified
At the consequences
And their behaviour
Towards their loved ones
Who understand fully
The why's, and...

Smoking And Falling Asleep
It was something that she couldn't live to regret.
She died in a fire that was caused by a cigarette.
She was smoking in the dark while she was in bed.
She fell asleep and the fire started and she's dead.
It's particularly sad because she was only twenty-five.
The firefighters fought the fire but she didn't survive.
That lady's body was covered with third degree burns.
This should teach a lesson that needs to be learned.
While you're lying in bed, you should never smoke.
You might die as well and what I'm saying is no joke.
Anna Karen also...

The Real World
I saw a wino in the street
Stained and stinking of vomit and urine
His hair knotted and streaked with grit
And something else unknowable
I looked away quickly but still he caught my glance
And his eyes were as red as blood
And filled with pain
An agony as deep as his bones
I leaned over and passed him twenty bucks
Though I could guess where it would be spent
I asked him to please get a bite to eat
And he laughed
His voice as gritty as his hair
His eyes though didn't share in the laughter
He told me that he...

9-11, the cruel aftermath
9/ 11 the cruel aftermath
Dented western hubris, the mirror cracked
self believes shocked the vanity foundation.
How dare they we are the top predators
our rage will be swift and massive.
Falluja, the western army killed anything that moved
my thought went to Palestine a state of olives
and goat herding, who paid the ultimate prize.
Propaganda is the mixing of truth and deliberate lies
there are those who say Palestine never existed
but old maps tell a different story.
The wheel of the future is ruthless, Israel is tolerated ...

Glimpse of eternity
An uncertain
Vague future
Seized upon him
Like wolves tearing flesh
From their prey
He stood alone
To face this
Eternal damnation
His apprehension
Was negligence
On his part
Handcuffed with
Blood spattered garments
Leering over bodies
Justice would not look
Favorably upon him
He glimpsed eternity
In the red and blue
Pulsating lights
Vague future
Seized upon him
Like wolves tearing flesh

The Email
Talk about internet trolls. Today is the fifth anniversary of the fire and I get this totally sick email.
Thinking Of You, the subject reads.
A bit odd, but I open the email anyway, despite not recognising the name of the Sender. I gape. Is this someone's idea of a joke? Or am I dreaming? No way would a normal person write a message like this:
I passed you on the street the other day but you didn't recognise me. Your name is Gavin Montgomery and you're twenty-three-old. Your parents live in Doncaster and they have one other son who's a couple of years...

Big Foot
Walking in the woods is
a terrifying experience.
You never know what
will happen to you.
Then you cross a path
that can change your life
forever. You start to walk
carefully in those woods.
When you're faced with
danger lurking in the
dark, you just want to
scream bloody murder.
You suddenly spot a hairy
tall looking scary creature.
You freeze hoping it doesn't
spot you.
You want to run away, but
you're too scared to
move, you feel a rush of
chill running down

The Dark Fires Of Miss. Saigon (Act III of Act III)
My love my whispers are getting faint to speak
The demons’ fog swirls and circles my feet
Obscuring my sight, my war for freedom is getting weak
Torrents of pain, silenced voices, weary faces without names
Sacrifices of blood on the pentagram of pain
Blackness comforting the steps of my feet
The stench of humanity’s disobedience, roasting in a lake of fire as consecrated meat
Death in my disgraced dishonor birthed in the name of love
The passage of the abyss is narrow I tarry in...

The Dark Whispers Of Miss Saigon (Act II of Act III)
Dreams of loving in the ideal of once was in the tidal wave of seeing your gloomy silhouette
Harkens unto the absence of stalwart souls having no engaging energy to reconnect
Kisses in the soft breeze fall upon the desolate of misplaced apparition upon pebbled stones
Hear the entreaties of longing in an image of man barren of my love from my hipbone
My faltering voice saturating as rain in rice fields lay bare as growth they surely shall come
Feeling your wandering languish icy palms slowly crawling over me in the warm midst
To have you in remembrance from...

The Dark Tears Of Miss. Saigon (Act I of Act III)
Oh, my love, your fair maiden in the bosom of thy night
When hats are lifted giving the darkness its beckoning light
Come to me the token of my love as I have sold to the pit of abyss my yearning soul
To feel your chilled lips upon mine as the cold night of my maidenhood consoles
Hushed whispers of pleading voices to ether cry out to throes of hell
To be worshipped with one lasting embrace one lingering kiss as deep, wet as a wishing well
In remembrance of earthly breath-to-breath bones to bones now devoid of humanity’s flesh ...

R.I.P. Bob Grant
I wish that I could tell you that he's still alive but sadly, I can't.
He was a talented British actor and his name was Bob Grant.
I hate to say that on November the 8th of 2003, this gifted actor died.
What made his death even more sad was that he committed suicide.
It was his third suicide attempt and he succeeded on his third try.
I feel sorry for him because he was so unhappy that he was determined to die.
His life ended because of carbon monoxide.
That was how that poor man committed suicide.
He starred in "On The Buses" and he did one hell of a...

Pauline
Let me tell you about the most tragic love story that has ever been known.
It's about a man who had a lover and her name was Pauline Jones.
It happened thirty-five years in the past.
But sadly, it was destined not to last.
She was beautiful with her hourglass figure and red hair.
But when she was taken from him, it was sad and unfair.
She had an ex-lover and he was jealous and mean.
He was furious and bitter because he lost Pauline.
Her ex-lover decided to visit her and she rejected him one last time.
He became enraged and he's rotting in...
