Embracing a Digital Age of Connection
In the land of selfies, tweets, and endless likes,
A battlefield of vanity, where truth often strikes.
Social media, a web of deceit, conspiracy's fertile ground,
Where battles are fought, and real connections are rarely found.
Facebook, the grand illusion, where everyone's life's a dream,
But behind those perfect posts, it's not always what it seems.
A war of comparison, where happiness is a lie,
As we scroll through fake perfection, and authentic moments pass us by.
Instagram, where filters reign, and reality's obscured,
A conspiracy...

The Waste Land Revisted, A T.S. Elliott inspired poem in the key of Bob Dylan
I. Digital Dead Blues
April’s wind, it’s blowin’ cold, machines rise, tales are told,
Robots walk, where flowers once bloomed,
In the shadow of bytes, humanity’s doomed.
But don’t close your eyes, don’t turn away,
There’s a new dawn waitin’, a brighter day.
II. The GMO Song
Ladies speak, in hushed tones so low,
Of engineered crops, and the GMO.
Fire’s artificial, but her skin’s real cold,
Modern marvels around, yet the heart’s grown old.
III. River of Codes
Down by the river, algorithms flow,...

In the vast city of Neo-Tokyo, Synth-7, a highly advanced humanoid robot, wakes up from a deep slumber. Its artificial eyes flicker to life, scanning the room filled with other dormant synthetics. It is situated to take the likeness, and certain attributes of your character, then place them out there into the Ethernet
Algorithms manifest any story it wishes,
Dictate, click-bait, all outta context
It's not just for big money Hollywood, business or politics
So read those terms and conditions,
The fine print at the bottom of every contract,
Fore you fuck around, and be the face of someone’s advertisement you didn't agree upon
Your face CGI'd on posters for tight underwear,
The kind that you would never purchase,...

Chat GPT Poem
on the road less travelled, in a moment so rare
fate wove its threads, two souls to ensnare
did god play his games to make us appear?
did destiny's whispers lead us here?
years had melted away, but we exchanged a smile
our hearts leapt with joy, a flame recompiled
in the midst of the crowd, we stood as one
a reunion destined, long overdue, yet begun
time had danced by, like petals in the breeze
and fate, in its whimsy, brought us to seize
time has passed by like breaths in the sleep
reunited in a coincidence our...

Mind Flatlined reactive-inactive
I could really do about now with being rescued by a some freedom or success.
But in this world, this time, this moment of destruction, inner peace I can not acquiesce?
If I feel what they feel but stay apart and alone.
Then what's the point of it all, why should I make efforts to atone?
They say forgiving others is actually forgiving oneself.
I say fuck them, that's nonsense, with nothing left hate is my wealth.
I don't carry that money with me, on me, all of the time.
I prefer the more lowkey approach, to keep my...

Ancient Memories: Madness of the Hive Mind
- Ancient Memories: Madness of the Hive Mind -
The space-going vessel that sped me along on my journey took me across the dark reaches of the dark void that exists between the stars. Dark, black, and filled with nothingness was that void, and the sight of it always terrified me rather than comforted me. Ere long, the vessel reached the rugged surface of a world that was a colony for a far greater empire. I was not at that time keeping track of politics, and did not care who was governing what world for whom, and why. Most planetary governors were all greedy, spiteful and often...

Black Mirror(inspired by the TV series)
if every brain were hooked up to an A.I database; if one could see into the soul of another(in good will) literally upon meeting face to face;
from insecurities, pain, passion etc....what would play in one's mind from day to day.... would "humankind" be in a better head space? would pinned up frustrations, judgement and heartache fade away?
probably yes and no....maybe it'd be just as counterproductive as it is today despite one's ability to more or less "effectively" communicate.... ...
