Still Bleeding Blue
I remember it was some time in the fall
In fourth grade
Fernando came to our school
I drew a cool poster of him in a pitching windup
There were hundreds of us out in the recess yard
He walked around and shook our hands
He was so young
That was 1984
Now he’s gone
But on game 1
The team put number 34
Right behind the pitcher’s mound
And when Freddie hit that Grand Slam
It took me back to Gibson’s 9th inning blast
I was fourteen all over again
Jumping and...

his essence
drifts through deep voice inflections
like carrier waves of intent
teasing beneath her skirt..speaking to
every iota of her body's language..incognito yet flagrantly overt
oozing from his aura like sexual cologne
heightening senses
inducing her oral inclinations

got girlie biting her lower lip
diggin how his blue collar mannerisms works the room
moistening velvety invitations
got her attention glued to his structure
as he moves about like a midnight...

Don't Call it a Bicycle
Don't call it a bicycle
it's much more serious than that
it's an extension of the Id called a bike
and nothing says 'athlete' like
an old man with his game face on
we all pretend, just a little bit anyway
me? I'm Greg Lemond
riding L'Aple d'Huez during Le Tour
I see myself soaring like an eagle
sweat soaked but smooth and powerful
until I'm passed by someone one third my age
No respect
don't they know I'm Greg Lemond?
oh well, I down shift a a couple of gears
just so I can breathe again
and go looking for a coffee...
