The Sky
the sky the sky up high above
the sole reason we can love
sheilding us from outer space,
beyond the sky it's what we face
atmosphere in constant motion
embracing us in its ocean
invisibly becoming breathing
with us always, coming, leaving
sunrise mornings, golden evenings
supernatural clouds and weavings
high above to down below
always in the sky a show
warm and snuggly, frigid freezing
windy, humid, dusty sneezing
argon, oxygen and too
lots of nitrogen passing through

that
morning's
ember,
how it
jumps,
it flies
on the
edge of
rumors,
each
descending
into the
corners
of
my room,
scraping
the
darkness
away,
leaving
my world
smoldering
while the
sun's
bloom
moves on.

the metamorphosis of water droplets
high up in the sky
in symbiotic relationship
with the air that's blowing by
shape-shifting ephemeral images
for anyone to view

Hellfire and Black Thunder
Above the field where flames do writhe
The heavens roar in tempest's might
A baleful wrath, both fierce and blithe
Cleave the shroud of endless night
The embers dance as a frenzied choir
As tongues of hell their torches raise
While thunder's drum, a voice of ire
Resounds across the starless haze
Charred expanse, a scarred domain
Lies drenched in hues of molten red
Where shadow’s kin and ash remain
In solemn pact with the dread overhead
No mortal eye such sights may bear
Nor soul endure the vengeful gale ...

Feathering the Nest
Feathering the nest
Before I set off in search of
Food for the babies
Sing my song in a sing song
Man cutting the grass
Hears us in the trees
Chirping and fluttering
His flute is his whistle
Sets down and tunes up
Beauty in Nature
Feels like we have the keys to the kingdom
Blades of grass are sliced down
While a cardinal with a red hood
Sings a song calling to nature
Man picks up what they’re singing
Calls it off in a sing song
Hear some babies chirping
Waiting...
