Tonight, He Weaves...
His favorite pastime
- call it obsession, preoccupation,
call it what have you -
was his life's legacy
always revisiting, re-examining,
always angling, spinning and revising,
always,
aiming at constructing a more effective narrative...
Tonight he took on colors
- he thought he knew his well -
Black and white the early years...
Decades of rage certainly red...
Hues of grey dominated the rest...
Tonight, he finds the puzzle incomplete...
Tonight, he feels his painting is lacking texture...
"Where is the blue?", he...

Among the Gods
He told him "No, don't fly to high
Stay safe in the middle, don't risk you life"
But Icarus
He saw the light
He chased the passion, even as it burned
and oh it burned, it scorched his skin
Daedalus watched in horror
afraid that he was right
Icarus he screamed up high
far from his father's gaze
as feathers drifted downwards
and fell unto the sea
The wax ran down his body
his wings they grew too weak
he plummeted towards earth
but his cry had been with glee
The world paints it...

Within The Act Of War... Light Shines On The Art Of Treason
The act of war you shall find my torch
A two-edged sword of begotten tongues cut out,
Sufferings of condemned skin will be scourged
I come into your dreams of nightfall with thy twins of light
Dishonor in the cry to my ears found in the thunderous of mythological plights
Three heads of war, life, and I give you sudden death
Your eyes I blind from the apparition to suffer thy temple unto the
mourn viciousness of my welts

Clash Of The Titans
Within my sacred temple no one echoes a humbling sound
Allow the spear from my arched bow never to reach solid ground
Spitting the skin, the tip residing into pierced hearts
Let thy fate comfort you as you close your eyes to find everlasting peace in eternal dark
My dagger I kiss before the plunge
Death and destruction I seek and slay for thy wicked of acidity tongues
The balance of life and death, balanced between my nostrils as I rise
My spirit found in the roar of the kill bringing instant demise

Killing Me Softly Within The Touch Of Madness And Thunder
Within the cathedral of remembrance my dewy alabaster skin I softly titillate
My passion, my desires, will be thy downwards fate
I embrace as I whisper within the melodies to entice, allure the virility of muscular’s spines
Within my lair once sought, caught, ruin, mischief, delusion folly, infatuation, rash action, suffering
Darkness I blanket the weakness of thy mind
Scented flesh, potency as a spell, devoid of sips of sweeten wine
One by one

To Cause Strife With Honor To Cause Discord With Pride
Oh thy malevolent Eris bowed unto the earth of a false temple to honor
bloodshed in mystery of thee
Contention and disharmony of frigid winds bleeds of veins so sweetly, so free
Tierney found in
Doting ill-reputed hollow pride
Unveiled pilgrimage and downtrodden hands folded to the skis
Reflective self boasts fairest of them all
Pejorative of loveliness by masculinity’s call
Wicked treachery bequest the twisting demise of Helen’s great fall
Giants slithers bemused, infused, abused of humanity’s passionate bite

Medusa’s Snakes
Self-reflection of monster’s maids
Faces of horrific grandeur uplifted from the grave
Death is mirrored appearance for hellish they pave
Open thy mouth
Foul odorous of hell illuminating earth from the pleasure within the bliss of dirt layering the enticing ingress of South
To take thy bed, within the sacred twan mark of the beast
Within the chambers of twin souls curses of its unsavory feast
Depravity feed by the pale horse thy ride
Masked to deceive with embracing passion hushed upon the sensual collide...

Mustangs
wild horses, mustangs
galloping in the shadows
dark clouds form...teardrops
staining the pavement
o' the sirens have sung
their songs, as the crimson tide
abides on the distant shores
as fate rolls those damned dice
the banshee she does moan
you can hear her sobbing
out on the moors, in the downpour
of scattered stones...lying
markers of graves laid for the brave
culling the heard
three times she will knock
on the cobblestone wall
on weathered wings...the crow will fly

Visions of Persephone
sunshine shimmers
upon a pond glitters
as fawn lips disrupt
the glassy surface
as she drinks
she floats above
a verdant marsh
her gown fashion from peet
she echoes a reedy tone
o' when she sings sad songs
as she glides over blades
lush grass tickles her barefeet
she has bluebells in her hair,
each toe she wears a ring
given to her by her mother dear
all creatures bow their heads
in reverence as she floats above
the placid lake...like a vision...a dream
She is...

Great Horned Owl and The Golden Goblet
Sometimes,
the moon shines down
shimmers with a blueish hue
that is where my golden goblet lingers
out of reach from the tips of my fingers
swallows peer through frosted windows
along the riverside...
I hold my goose-feather quill
over dripping ebon ink upon
the threadbare page, limpid droplets
of old squid's bile
writing stories of distant lands
where willows once wept loudly
and from some trees
their boughs produced fruit
a cornucopia of good foods to eat
Once where...

CUPID’S CROOKED ARROW
I shepherd her through doubt
And in the process I lose mine
Love is oh so roundabout
Never simply a straight line

Mister Dewer
adapted liberally from English myth
Across the Moor each night
he rides, his pack of hounds -
with glittered teeth
and slavering mounds
of jaw, ugly muscle pumping -
in cold obedience.
Like a coated toff meaning
to satisfy an uncouth need,
he whips his mare and bleeds
a brittle instrument of sound.
A pitted shinbone from
a satchel sewn
with stolen infant flesh.
The moon, by clouds of witness held
like a spoiled toff’s lady
wrapped in taffeta, looks on with haughty
eye. The priests will call...
