To Cause Strife With Honor To Cause Discord With Pride

Oh thy malevolent Eris bowed unto the earth of a false temple to honor
bloodshed in mystery of thee
Contention and disharmony of frigid winds bleeds of veins so sweetly, so free
Tierney found in
Doting ill-reputed hollow pride
Unveiled pilgrimage and downtrodden hands folded to the skis

Reflective self boasts fairest of them all
Pejorative of loveliness by masculinity’s call
Wicked treachery bequest the twisting demise of Helen’s great fall
Giants slithers bemused, infused, abused of humanity’s passionate bite
Divinity found in the insipid of shade, warmth of the Moon’s glow
above earthly sights

Darkness of lies, maelstrom
For the most beautiful golden apple to hand unto immortal man
Inferior of warmth
Plagues of mind, hearts, souls
Devoid of milk and honey spurned hatred siphons the gentleness of lands
Fiendish Goddess’ dialect of darkness to swoon
Harp the embracing melodies, eclipsed of its bitter iniquities from
Sudan to the Nile’s Blue lagoon

Eris oh goddess of strife and discord, can you hear the water’s roar
Flowing tears as the skies pours
Stinging sensations with rushing hooves trampling in her wraith
To love unto, entombed of Eris’ embracing wonders found in her mythology’s path
Adorned of hardship of hellish jewel to worship bowing into the golden calf

Eris is the Greek goddess of strife and discord. Her Roman equivalent is Discordia, which means the same. Eris's Greek opposite is Harmonia, whose Roman counterpart is Concordia. Homer equated her with the war-goddess Enyo, whose Roman counterpart is Bellona. The dwarf planet Eris is named after the goddess. She had no temples in ancient Greece and functions essentially as a personification, as which she appears in Homer and many later works.
