STOP OVER THINKING
Stop over thinking about the things, that you have no real control over, when you try to work against a system, that is against you. 😞 Stop over thinking about the things that keep you up, till the wee hours when you are losing precious time ⌚ to sleep. 😴 Stop over thinking of ways to be able to share, your thoughts without defending and denying, thyself
how you feel and think of your own insight and feelings. 🤨JUST be thyself for why should you have to change, your way that you THINK and feel, about the betterment of your own life. 🧐 Stop over...

A Daughter Drifting
In the quiet of her daughter’s bedroom, she sat with shades drawn.
Looking down at her hands she questioned God.
How does a treasure, so fiercely guarded, slip through open fingers?
The lips of my child that once whispered prayers at this bedside
now give pleasure to the unworthy. How can flesh of my flesh
yield with such ease to the fickle dance of an adolescent boy’s desire?
What were her prayers at the moment of his coming? Were they
prayers for grace or of thanksgiving?
Did she feel pleasure or sadness?
These are the...

Roadkill Prayer
As I passed by where her body lay, a silent prayer I shared,
Who felt the ripple of her death on this morning's gentle air?
Were there fawns yet to be mothered, lives she’ll leave untouched?
What dreams lived within her, now forever crushed?
Would she have chosen differently if choice were hers to make?
A noble end by hunter's bow, a fate she'd gladly take?
Or did she dream of tender love, a young buck's bounding lust.
in her final breath today, she began her path toward dust.

WHEN YOU HAVE SOMETHING
They say when you have something else, that you've never had before. DUE to the fact that there was no real commitment, and consistency of honesty and truth and trust. But yet you were willing to give it a chance, just to see how much of the words hold TRUTH. 🤨 FOR it's true what they say, knowone is sent to you by chance 💕 or accident 😞 FOR it is the cycle of life. Yet soon you will find out the truth, when we encounter someone, who doesn't have the ability to understand, the true meaning of real communications. Between a woman and man or man to woman who is going...

Childless(cat) lady
Childless lady
Maybe she is barren but she wants one
Couple goes to the clinic hoping they can deliver
IVF recipe gives dreams to the unecumberded
Get home late didn’t see the text
All I see is I’m becoming a mother
Go to the hospital with dreams realized
On the way turn on the radio they said
IVF is against the law
So we go back to the family home
All that greets us is our Cats

The Demons I Have Welcomed
I stand alone, a mother,
with a heart torn since my youth.
My child, my flesh, was swept away by demons
That I have welcomed.
I have passed through nights
Filled with lust and its satisfaction.
I have sought comfort in arms
Not mine to keep.
My child is now in another's care
While I dance with shadows.
My choices, like thorns,
Fill me for the moment
But leave emptiness after piercing.
True love must be like stars
That prick the sky,
Distant and untamed,
While I rush to a fleeting night's flame ...
with a heart torn since my youth.
My child, my flesh, was swept away by demons
That I have welcomed.
I have passed through nights
Filled with lust and its satisfaction.

Little Hermes
My little Hermes
With that belly full of milk
Like little lions
When they drink from their mom
Let me touch it a bit
Please.

Bump on the belly
Bump on the belly
Sit and think about
What she goes through
Gestating creation in the womb
Nurturing maternal instincts
As I go about my business
My feet don’t swell
No morning sickness
Swimming in nausea
She’s a trooper
No complaints
If it was me I’d be
Screaming from the rooftops
Asking for help or some relief
She soldiers on
Says she’s fatiguing
On the couch for days
9 months on the rock pile
Producing Oscar winners
Or a astronaut exploring...

Dont try to dry my golden tears
As I sat before the doctor, the expectation of bad news fell like thunder drops of rain, so unfair the inner shudder like the chiller door left open, was this the ultimate aria of the opera, the heroine falling into the arms of her lover still besotted yet condemned.
The physician looking at the test results and declaring "it seems to be positive". the years of questions the unwanted sympathy that hangs on one like a web of guilt. it now seemed to float just beyond comprehension. Some trick, a distortion hiding behind what was always tomorrow expectations, always turning up at...

Necessary Parting
October 4, 2024
Yesterday was harder than I thought it would be. Handing Ava over to David and his wife felt like I was tearing a piece of my heart out and watching it walk away. For five months, she's been my constant companion, my little girl who needed me for everything — especially the comfort and nourishment of breastfeeding. It's been an intimate bond, one that I never thought I'd be able to break, even temporarily.
But after the abortion, everything feels different. The decision to go out of state for the procedure wasn't easy, but it was necessary. I keep telling...

Gravestone Baby
I’m a gravestone baby
My parents named me
On a cold fresh day wind is dancing leaves about their feet
Deep in talk not noticing where they are
As the past surrounds them
In the silhouette there is a rise in the belly
Names go about how about Simon or Julius
Or Edna or Barbara Jean something in between
They walk past some sandstone with a name
Carved into the days that passed
I’m a gravestone baby
That’s the name my mama gave me
Has no connection to any of us
But...
