As You Could See, I Already Moved On.
Richard went to Jennifer's apartment.
He saw her long hair cut short.
Jennifer hooked up with Michelle.

Her Light Was Beautiful
Last night I dreamed of my friend, imagining us as lovers, two souls merging into one again and again until finally, she caught fire. We danced in the flames unthinking and unafraid. In the moment my tongue found her heat, she turned into embers, and I was left naked and embarrassed, stooping at the edge of a colorless ash that still held her heat.
Her light was beautiful but ended too soon.
Her light was beautiful but ended too soon.

After Seeing Sharon Go Into Heather's Bedroom
After seeing
Sharon go
into Heather's
bedroom, Kendra peeked through
a keyhole and watched her
sister get naked and
let Sharon get on top of her friend.

The Reason Why We Broke Up
At first, John thought he knew what was wrong with
Karen and went to her place to fix that
problem by asking her to marry him. But
when he got there and saw Karen naked with
two other women, he said "Forget it!" and left.

The Straight People Express
We’re boarding an exclusive automobile.
This transport doesn’t carry LGBT people.
If homosexuals are waiting on the road,
We’ll pass them and we won’t look back.
If we see any lesbians hitchhiking,
We won’t stop and give them a lift.
If stranded bisexuals flag down the vehicle,
We’ll just pretend not to see them.
If transgender people ask for a ride,
We won’t let them travel with us.
But if we meet heterosexuals along the wayside,
We’ll stop and say, “Welcome aboard.”

safe space
i think,
you’re my safe space
i fall asleep
don’t care if we’re sick
teasing, dreaming.
i swear,
on sunday you kissed me
kissed me on the head
while watching tv
i froze, shivered,
unexpected love
or daydreaming?
i can tell,
by falling asleep on your chest
with a traumatized mind
shutting down, resting,
that i found the love i deserve
in the body
of the girl i met
years ago
and learn to love
everyday.

our flag
we‘re laying here
under my pride flag
and the stars, my dear
arm in arm, entangled
now i‘m laying in my bed
thoughts racing through my head
am addicted to how your skin feels on mine
is this already a sign?
or do i just belong with you
and in your heart too?

Our Bodies Together
Her face was laced with freckles below her eyes.
Her form was silhouetted against light from the hallway, but
I knew her so well her face seemed to glow.
She was happy.
I was happy.
Our friendship was deep.
Our bodies together seemed perfectly natural.
The narrow bridge of her nose always
wrinkled when she laughed. How I wished
she would laugh, but she only whimpered
in a high-pitched chirp that mirrored
the rhythm of my tongue.
