Mistakes
Mistakes, I have made them
You have made them too, all too frivolous in their contempt
Brushing against the wind of our present thought
Can you feel the shame you have let me brush aside?
Can you let me feel the rush on high?
I see the past for what it was, obscured by all my subjectivity
I weep and cower for all is so close, led down the garden path of hate
And now it’s the weekend, wild and free perhaps you won’t see the best of me, but in my heart I hold them true, the logic behind the wild winds
Let me breathe,...
You have made them too, all too frivolous in their contempt
Brushing against the wind of our present thought
Can you feel the shame you have let me brush aside?
Can you let me feel the rush on high?
I see the past for what it was, obscured by all my subjectivity

Myself
Cold ...and empty
Wet concrete beneath my soles
Inhaling smoke, exhale regret
Looking back at the day that we met
Bold ...in plenty
Damp sidewalk beneath my toes
For all of my woes to lament
Don't think I know myself yet
It hurts to stand
But I can't lay down
How can broken hands,
Lift this crown?
Told ...already
As I sit down upon the curb
Fold ...when I met me
As I lay down upon these words
Wet concrete beneath my soles
Inhaling smoke, exhale regret
Looking back at the day that we met
Bold ...in plenty
Damp sidewalk beneath my toes
For all of my woes to lament
Don't think I know myself yet
It hurts to stand
But I can't lay down
How can broken hands,
Lift this crown?
Told ...already
As I sit down upon the curb
Fold ...when I met me
As I lay down upon these words

Evergreen Meadow: D-Block Chronicles.
Chapter 2:
The Spring Bloom Rescue
In the heart of Evergreen Meadow, lived the elements of the D-Block, each now a creature of the wood, their prison days a distant, shadowed memory. But even in this peaceful haven, the harsh winter had left its mark.
The annual Spring Bloom Festival, a celebration of new life, was threatened. Ice-laden branches lay scattered, paths were blocked by drifts, and the remnants of last autumn's vibrant blooms were now withered and buried beneath a blanket of frost.
The meadow's inhabitants, usually so...

The stream of life
Skipped like a stone upon the stream of life,
you sink so quick but in the moment you float on.
The ripples.. reflecting each memory, a shimmer in the darkness of eternity.
Broadcasting a signal, a long lasting symbol of sheer perseverance,
cycles of suffering and satisfaction
understanding not even a fraction of oneself..
This game is endless and never won but it's simply played for fun.
I follow the flow of frequencies wherever they lead.
While temptations deceive gratitude brings peace.
In this evolution of self with moments...

Lab Yrinth
Enclosed in a maze,
The rat is lost in confinement
He patterns out the bait and route
A switch flicks in his head as he catches
Sight of the world through a crack in the wall
He does not really register at first
And continues to chase the artificial scent
Of cloying comfort and sleepy routine
Going around and around
One day he wakes
And feels less drive to seek the bait
And wants to sniff out the truth
He presses a paw against the crack
And the wall comes down with ease
And the light hurts his eyes
But he can taste...

Growth
I gave you seeds
I gave you water
And I gave you love
Because I wanted to see you grow
The flowers were just compliments

Evolution
I’ve been isolating, trying to figure out me, Is it wrong to enjoy the company of myself, you see? I’ve faltered in living up to others’ definition of success, But in my clarity, I’ve won in my own progress.
Isolating my mind from the outside noise, It’s eerie, the silence, when you give up the TV’s voice. No more programming, no more lies, I’m not here to wake you from your sleep, just to realize.
Researching universal thought and healing frequencies, They say conquer your mind, but fail to mention the pleas. The difficulty of vanquishing negative perception, In a world...

Class Education
The trees bear fruit - delicious and rich
For the privileged few get to savor and taste, prosper and grow.
And the seeds are then passed down for new procreation, to be cultivated
To become richer on their own, passed down for generations to come.
But over time fences rise, to protect these trees that bear fruit
They are obstacles and barriers for those on the outside.
But the branches in time, reach further,
Inviting those who thirst and hunger
Outside the gates to experience this knowledge
So they cross
Any limits,
To know,
To...

Unforgettable
I wonder, myself whom I venerate
The voice of my heart if loud fair enough!
The hive of my life I strive to relate
Aspire to unleash my wonders, seems tough.
To craft a soul of light, creed of the core
The quest for mines of gems never shall end
The harsh thrusts I’ve learned not to deplore
For every stance there shall be a firm stand.
Pearly prints along your path, your voice carve
Sound sounds are seized and unforgettable
Medallions feeding souls to never starve
The bliss is a blessing increasable.
Sowing abiding...

Are You Nice or Kind?
A single junco hopping carefree;
pecking stray seed in the snow.
The bird fully embraces the world it knows.
It's tiny heart thumps in gratitude;
for the wondrous discovery of food.
There is a difference between nice and kind;
you will hopefully someday find.
Being nice, you are pleasant and agreeable;
only to make yourself shine
in another's judgemental eye.
If you are kind, you have a deeper level of compassion
for a person's needy cry.
pecking stray seed in the snow.
The bird fully embraces the world it knows.

Stillness
He asks, "What's on your mind?"
I respond with nothing,
but the silence betrays me—
he sees it in my eyes, the quiet
drift of thought. So again, he asks,
"What's on your mind?"
And I answer, simply, "Life."
He wants to know more,
to pull me from my reverie,
but he knows better
than to break the stillness.
Let me be, lost in wonder,
staring through the window
at the passing trees,
the strangers in their cars,
the signs, the void of motion.
I'm not rude, I’m just...
I respond with nothing,
but the silence betrays me—
he sees it in my eyes, the quiet
drift of thought. So again, he asks,
"What's on your mind?"

The Ladder
Behind the daytime of my worn eyes.
Throughout the black static of my mind.
Exists an endless ladder that winds.
It climbs past memories drawers.
Where the long forgotten is stored.
Memories, both warm and cold mental burns.
Keys to doors of what we have learned.
Crucial reminders of knowledge earned.
It's time to descend with thoughts elated and free.
And open enlightened eyes to finally see.
The now of the ripest possibilities.
Throughout the black static of my mind.
Exists an endless ladder that winds.
It climbs past memories drawers.
Where the long forgotten is stored.
Memories, both warm and cold mental burns.
Keys to doors of what we have learned.
