I am reminded...
of all the days I longed to run away
how funny is that
grown ass adult having fantasies of escape
find a little place on the side of a mountain
just me {& my cats}...
no cars or fights
or gunshots across the street
just the whispering rumors of wind
& gossipy titters of birds in the trees
nobody to notice if I remain mute
when the only person around is me
alternatively...
I could mouth off whenever I want
...who's going to protest
lately I've had this crazy idea...

Perpetual Seeker
I don’t know” is the challenge
a return to childlike innocence
“I don’t know, but I’ll find out” is challenge accepted
awakens the inner detective, researcher, puzzle solver
“To the best of my knowledge” is the reward
praying that my curiosity hunger is never satisfied,
that my thirst for knowledge never abates
that my honest lack of education
will forever supersede my pride
knowing everything, where’s the fun in that
a return to childlike innocence

How Much Do We Actually Know?
What do we actually know about nature?
The things we know are what we conceive them to be.
How much do we actually know?
We don’t have accurate knowledge about everything we claim to know.
Misleading information exists everywhere.
How can we tell whether the things we know are true or false?
Some people seek knowledge about many things.
Others just want to know enough to get by.
We should not believe only what we see.
Many things exist beyond our knowledge.
Not everything we know is worth knowing. ...

Excuse me.
Excuse me!
EXCUSE ME!!!
Yes you. I have a question to ask.
Why does it take several times for you to respond to me?
You can't answer that
I know why...
It's because your head is buried into that device they call a smartphone
It seems that your compulsive behavior with this machine is creating a barrier amongst others
Sure you may have loads of friends online, but you can't truly see, feel or hear them
Your "friends" are not really your "friends"
Is it that necessary to refresh your post...

Bits and Pieces
Bits and pieces
But even more than that
Drips and cohesions
The first draft
Was maybe crayons
Or rocks even
Little blades of grass
Flowers drying in the evening
Little blades of glass
Sometimes crying, we received them
But graphite sticks
Our own pursuits into the paper
We print
And the bright lightning began
To form the words that we spit
In digital it’s still a soul
We’ve often shuddered
From the words that we’ve writ
We’ve lost and cluttered
More than we’d like to forget
But if time binds...

if you look hard enough...
you spend your whole life with someone
think you know them
but what percentage of your belief is real
& how much...illusion
created perhaps...
by the damage unintentionally inflicted
& it's the only remaining thing still coloring your view
all because...they hurt you
& now it's all you're willing to remember
it was a hard lesson...for sure
seeing from her side of reality
that kinda vision is painful
coming to terms with my own bias
my own fallible humanity
my mother was buttoned down so tight ...

Confessions of a Dying Reality
This fear I hold onto so dear,
Blocks my eyes I can't see the road clear,
I feel it but I know it ain't mine,
Generations of conviction made it shine.
Struggling to create my own domain,
Travelling into the unknown,
Receiving codes hard to decipher,
I'm piercing my heart with a sharp knife.
These dreams make me question my identity,
I feel like a demon among men,
I feel like an angel in my own den,
I've realized i do not exist.
What i perceive is illusory,
With judgements that...

mirror of hidden reflections
hardest lesson I've had to learn
is the distance between a mistake
& growth
is owning it
most especially to one's self
even with nothing obvious to be gained
there are things far more important
than pride
& being right
because sometimes right is subjective
& the cost beyond reckoning
leaving chasms in the spirit
where honesty once resided
I don't fear being wrong
it's a frequent occurrence
but causing another harm...
it terrifies me
so I'm always watching
honing my inward eye ...

Mistakes
Mistakes, I have made them
You have made them too, all too frivolous in their contempt
Brushing against the wind of our present thought
Can you feel the shame you have let me brush aside?
Can you let me feel the rush on high?
I see the past for what it was, obscured by all my subjectivity
I weep and cower for all is so close, led down the garden path of hate
And now it’s the weekend, wild and free perhaps you won’t see the best of me, but in my heart I hold them true, the logic behind the wild winds
Let me breathe,...

Myself
Cold ...and empty
Wet concrete beneath my soles
Inhaling smoke, exhale regret
Looking back at the day that we met
Bold ...in plenty
Damp sidewalk beneath my toes
For all of my woes to lament
Don't think I know myself yet
It hurts to stand
But I can't lay down
How can broken hands,
Lift this crown?
Told ...already
As I sit down upon the curb
Fold ...when I met me
As I lay down upon these words
Wet concrete beneath my soles
Inhaling smoke, exhale regret
Looking back at the day that we met
Bold ...in plenty
Damp sidewalk beneath my toes
For all of my woes to lament
Don't think I know myself yet
It hurts to stand
But I can't lay down
How can broken hands,
Lift this crown?
Told ...already
As I sit down upon the curb
Fold ...when I met me
As I lay down upon these words

Evergreen Meadow: D-Block Chronicles.
Chapter 2:
The Spring Bloom Rescue
In the heart of Evergreen Meadow, lived the elements of the D-Block, each now a creature of the wood, their prison days a distant, shadowed memory. But even in this peaceful haven, the harsh winter had left its mark.
The annual Spring Bloom Festival, a celebration of new life, was threatened. Ice-laden branches lay scattered, paths were blocked by drifts, and the remnants of last autumn's vibrant blooms were now withered and buried beneath a blanket of frost.

The stream of life
Skipped like a stone upon the stream of life,
you sink so quick but in the moment you float on.
The ripples.. reflecting each memory, a shimmer in the darkness of eternity.
Broadcasting a signal, a long lasting symbol of sheer perseverance,
cycles of suffering and satisfaction
understanding not even a fraction of oneself..
This game is endless and never won but it's simply played for fun.
I follow the flow of frequencies wherever they lead.
While temptations deceive gratitude brings peace.
In this evolution of self with moments...
you sink so quick but in the moment you float on.
