Seemed as if my present-day aged,
reforming my deep-rooted prophecies,
into whims of novelties,
I try to refresh my journeys and fondness for idioms,
Discoveries,
Led me to sceneries of blessings and obscenity,
The effects of my imageries; inclined and bounded by scribble's identity,
I tried to flee the abuse of my ingenuity,
But failed to resist ,
I submitted to tongue's sprain; "my tropical tones" ,'
Resembled fire on burning stones,
Provoked my intimate dream to be awaken; by whispers of illicit undertones.
Candid moans...

how whales fly
if i were
to have
a superpower
it’d be slow-
motion
for all
the times
you
turned
heads skyward
although
i’d have
to make
rules
for non-
interference
such as letting
your
teardrops
hit the
dirt-floor
otherwise
we’d sink
to the
bottom
of a saltless sea

MY WISH FOR YOU
It is my wish that you grow in a healthy and happy home
Where your parents will create for you a place of comfort so that streets you don’t roam.
That you find support in family and not solely on friends
That your trust begin with family where true love exists with no end.
It is my wish for you to grow to be a caring big brother
Sharing your things and being there for one another
That the same hand of your little brother you hold to cross the street
Be the same hand you hold when fear he meets.
The special hand of a big brother in the midst of...

associative areas of the brain
Memory is made to fit space, to pause
of the box is to reconcile of nothingness and the possibility
of a swarming's orange blossom racing out of the eye
sockets in a reflection of the seconds,
once again a second time, of the seconds
that you fingered a twirl around the dead cells pushing
out of his head and the memory is at
capacity lost. Filled meter lights a warning
and somewhere a womanly being in stripes
presses the button under the counter.
Who comes to the rescue! but a blue-clad strain

Experience me for I have become
I was drawn in by the way the words seemed to dance around a page.
Vivid images,
described in such a way as to communicate an experience that can really
only be perceived by the one experiencing it.
Yet there is something inside us,
something that makes us human,
that cries out
"Know me."
"See me."
"Experience what I have experienced."
It is that same desire that pushes us to carve our names into trees, walls, even bathroom stalls.
All we ever want,
as humans,

getting back on track
I'm not gonna lie
I'm pissed
it shouldn't have happened
...but it did
it's a mess...
well...I am...in some respects
...in others...I'm solid
I could rail at the injustice of it all
rake him thoroughly over the coals
categorically listing the sordid details
...to what end?
it is what it is
and I'm still standing
holding my ground
I've come out of the dark & my light is still shining...
...if a little diminished
picking up pieces of illusion serves no useful purpose
in the end...
...I let him through...

Today
Today,
Was about fruition,
The planting of a seed.
The framing of a picture,
Of picture of moment.
A moment,
Amongst a sea of moments.
The turning point,
A starting point,
A step,
Amongst the tide of steps.
An acknowledgement of,
Potential futures,
Of all the futures and their potentials.
Before today,
It was just another day on a board.
And now today stands,
As every other stands,
A memory added to the hoard.
Richer for it's planting,
Brighter for its lighting,
And better,
For what...

Hints
"Will you shut up!"
shouted under my breath
as manifest destiny
keeps goosing me in the ass
I can take a hint
there's no need to slap me upside the head
reeling from the onslaught
delivered on a tender breeze
wandering off the beaten path
knee deep in thistles and thorns
clearing the trail
with the weedwhacker of my soul
"Ah-choo!" scream my sinuses
suffering from feverish hay
it seems the user manual for living
is written in...

the porch
the porch,
my learning
tool,
it's feet,
it's arms,
wide eyes
and constant
stare,
colored like
those of
mostly summer,
edges of
other seasons
lay in
the edges,
each day
in between
porch posts,
it's
wide mouth
vibrates
and once
tapping
each board,
brushed
with ideas
of casual
replies.

i want to dance
i want to
hop, skip,
parade
myself around,
to glide
effortlessly
just above
the hardwood
flooring,
to foolishly
show off
my
non-skills,
to have fun
when it
comes to
the art
of dancing,
hop, skip,
parade
myself around,
