Turning The Tide
King Canute
Rather cute
To prove he was so astute
He could turn the tide
And to prove
That he wasn't
As acute
As his people thought
He ought
Got wet!

A PERFECT WORLD IS IT NOT ???
There is an question ? That seems to walk around through the stairways and gateways of my thoughts, appearing like visionary settings within an world of division between ? What is good and what is evil like an ANGEL AGAINST THE DEVIL. For there always have been an long distance relationships between, the two connections of living in poverty making it from day to day trying to make 50 scents into a dollar.Yet there are those who are living in peace and serenity still unacceptable to accepting each other as one. For even as history continues to repeat the same situations over and over again,...

The Secrets of Ea
Suddenly, a vision of Age First
Amid the vastness of the time
after Arwen's tears burst
into the river that entwined
All the experiences felt there,
the Creation of Ea's within,
all the glory honoured, fair,
for All dignified have been.
The 144 Elven Ones
the number of Achievement
for it's About their Dance
when they Separate Went
When the Ainur Avatars
launched their Formating Design
and Chose the Veil of the Stars
to Offuscate as to Entwine.

One eye turned blind
Why isn't there a song for every soldier,
A poem for every struggle hero?
Why is it the one's we see on TV
Read about on newspaper
And idolize
The one's we all have doubts in?
Tell me what's real,
Tell me what's fake
When the media paints -em as Heroes and Saints
Pushing their agenda and dictated by third parties gain
Is our history really written by cowards?
We being fed straight forward lies
And still we believe
Deep inside we all know we are being played
And we still being played

Villanelle Nr.18 — What Einstein Said
We’re still not sure what Einstein said
despite he’s quoted quite a lot
and we can’t ask him since he’s dead
he never gave a talk on TED,
his you-tube clips are doctored rot
so how to know what Einstein said?
and what went on inside his head
is relative — (or was it not?)
… we can’t ask him since he’s dead
iconic hair with lots of cred
a mystic too, so what’s the plot?

The River Arun, West Sussex
Flowing by the wetlands of Arundel
Overlooked by a castle up on high
Ptolemy first called it the Trisantonis
Is the River Arun running by
Also known as the Trespasser
A Southern Celtic Brythonic interpretation of the word
An indication of its tendency to flood
For centuries, this has been observed
Part of the Arun, was rumoured to be called the Arnus
Brythonic for run, go, or flow
And that Arundel may mean Arno-Dell
Or where the Dell of the flowing river did go
Remains of Iron-Age forts
To Roman ruins, signs of...

positively mediaeval
it's like living in the middle ages again, I mean not that I did, but if I had then I might have been able to pin it on god instead of man

Completing the Circle
Completing the Circle
Along the ridge, we followed the trail
That led through confederate earthworks
Deep into forest quiet
Descended the hill
To cross the pathless creek
Where rushes were thick
To be parted to make way
For intrepid lovers
Until we follow the rise
On our pilgrimage
To the museum water fountain
Where wife excitedly imparts our adventure
To smiling young ranger
Who admonishes not to go off-trail again
But that we had a good time and that is good
Wife brushes dirt off her pants ...

Middens are piles of oyster shells
left by migrants from the perennial winter
of the northern ice age
when the woolly mammoth lumbered
across the cool grasslands of Louisiana.
The nomads had no home
but the memory of a forest
might stir a tear
as they traversed the pelagic land-sea.
The camel species began
far from the Sahara in North America
where they migrated south
in riderless caravans
with their humps silhouetted
by the setting sun
to lead the grass-people to water and...

Writing of you is likened to eating raw chilli by the pot,
stationing oneself in a lush garden
and vomiting that love back up
over dried hydrangeas and a defenceless crocus similar to involuntary fitting.
There's something in longing
for fondness doused in rejection,
binds of destruction too comforting to untie.
Truth spills over a precipice in increments, overflowing when it rains,
a pipe to human waste,
hounding toward innocent seas.
That said there is musing and a reality, somewhere,
everytime I try to see it,...
